Miss Molly's Inn is a cozy and charming Victorian Bed and Breakfast overlooking Chincoteague's Bay and facing onto our Historic Main Street within an easy walk of quaint shops and delicious seafood restaurants. The Inn has seven comfortable, well appointed rooms, including one 2 bedroom family suite along with five wonderful porches with plenty of lounging chairs and a large deck on the second floor that overlooks the Chincoteague Bay's glorious sunsets. We also have a beautiful screened in porch full of flowers where guests relax each afternoon and evening. The inn is perfect for honeymoons, small weddings and family get-togethers. Miss Molly's is also where Marguerite Henry wrote her classic 'Misty of Chincoteague' in our Marguerite Henry Suite. Rates include our full three course gourmet breakfast for two each morning. In addition to our delicious breakfasts, coffee, tea, waters and home baked treats are available all day. Guests are also invited to borrow our bikes and beach gear during their stay with us - we seek to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, providing every amenity for your comfort and arranging activities and dinner reservations for you - just ask! Assateague's famous ponies and our beach are a short 2 mile drive or bike ride away!

The new owners, Dave and Renata, were gracious and accommodating hosts during our stay. The house retains its original charm but has been meticulously modernized. The rooms are tidy and nicely decorated. There’s a screened-in porch where you can grab a hot tea or cold seltzer and meet the other guests. The breakfasts were amazing, fitting for a 3-star hotel. The location of the B&B is a convenient walk to Main Street where you’ll find highly rated restaurants such as Bill’s Seafood. Thanks!

We stayed in the Marguerite Henry room at Miss Molly’s and could not think of one thing they could have done to make it more comfortable. Individual room HVAC systems ensured that the temperature was perfect. The king bed was super comfortable and everything was spotless. There were bedside charging stations, a Roku TV, comfortable chairs, and all the comforts of home. Nice, thick bath towels were provided, along with a supply list of personal care items we fortunately didn’t have to use.
As it is the Christmas season, the entire outside and common areas were tastefully decorated for the holidays.
The breakfast was scrumptious and our hosts could not have been more attentive.
The only thing we could possibly suggest might be a coffee and tea station that guests could access at will.

My fiancé and I stayed at Miss Molly’s for a few nights and had a lovely time! We stayed in the Marguerite Henry room which was a decent size with a private bathroom. The B&B has a quaint feel with lots of antique furniture and decorative china dishware. The breakfasts were fantastic! Every morning, you get fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee. We were told they alternate savory and sweet breakfast each morning. If the main breakfast was savory (for example, our first morning we had a delicious sausage and egg casserole), then they would also give you a little sweet treat on the side (e.g., muffins). The next day your main breakfast would be something sweet (e.g., French toast with peaches) and you would get something savory on the side (e.g., bacon). We don’t have dietary restrictions but it looked like other guests were able to get appropriate meals if they let the B&B know ahead of time. We had Julie and Danielle during our stay and they were very kind and helpful.

The house also has a spacious screened in porch with a shared refrigerator, microwave, water bottles, sparkling waters, tea, and snacks (fruit, trail mix and homemade cookies). The porch is the perfect place to eat if you want to get takeout/delivery from a nearby restaurant.

During our stay, we opted to do the afternoon tea and the beach picnic lunch. For the tea, we were served so many desserts that we were eating leftovers for 2 more days! Everything was scrumptious. For the picnic lunch, they packed us up some sandwiches on rolls, fruit, chips, homemade cookies and water bottles. The house also had all the beach essentials: umbrellas, chairs, clean beach towels, fold up wagons, sunscreen, and bug spray. They had plenty of supplies in case multiple guests wanted to go to the beach the same day. The supplies were also good quality and fairly new looking.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay! We walked around some of the local shops, climbed to the top of the lighthouse, spent a lot of time on the beach, and saw the Assateague ponies every day.

I highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back. :)

We have a lovely and very relaxed week at Miss Molly's. Breakfast each day was delicious and creative. We were close enough to walk or bike to most places. The screened porch was key for games and visiting with friends who came to join us at the end of the week. All rooms were booked out but I never felt uncomfortable or too close during these Covid times.
Of course the champagne split with a note, glasses, and flower pedals on the bed for our anniversary was a lovely touch too!

When you head to Chincoteague Island, the water is one of the stars of the show. Our room not only had a comfortable bed, but an upper deck with chairs to enjoy the water and the sunset with a glass of wine, or see the sunrise with a mimosa. Breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious and creative, with homemade, mouthwatering baked goods. We also enjoyed a delicious afternoon high tea,
(at an additional cost), with the lightest lemon lavender scones I have ever tasted, freshly made just for our tea. Located on Main Street in the heart of town, walking to restaurants, galleries and bookstores, was very convenient. Great boat tour was right out back, to see ponies on islands, beautiful eagles, and dolphins swimming alongside the boat, made our stay at Miss Molly's a five-star adventure.

We're glad your experience was so special at Miss Molly's. Relaxing by the Chincoteague Bay is a special memory you'll treasure along with Captain Dan's great Boat Tours right next door and the wonderful seafood restaurants walking distance from the Inn. We're glad our little extra touches - delicious breakfasts with homemade pastries, cozy beds, authentic British High Tea, and our Beautiful Upper Deck to enjoy the water - all added to the fun. Come see us again soon!

Charming Victorian Bed & Breakfast with so much history, artwork, and memorabilia to discover. The Upper Deck room was cozy and had direct access to the deck to enjoy the cool evening breezes. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious! Renata and Dave are gracious hosts, providing light snacks available during the day, bicycles, beach supplies, and more. Dave provided great tips on restaurants, sights to see, and local history. Can't wait to visit again! Thank you Dave & Renata for a wonderful stay!

We booked a last minute visit to Chincoteague Island. We stayed 3 nights and Miss Molly's Bed and Breakfast was a perfect accommodation. We were upgraded without asking! The bed was quite comfortable. A full breakfast was served each morning. If you prefer savory over sweet breakfasts, let the host know before so that she can accommodate your request. Extra "goodies" were here too...sun lotion, bug spray, (umbrellas were a bit worse for the wear), beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, snacks. The location was perfect! Walk to everything except the beach. The beach was a car ride or bike ride away. Worth a visit!

I always stay at Miss Molly's when I visit Chincoteague Island and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Since I've been there 17 times, they treat me like family. I can't think of anything I need that they don't provide. If the weather is bad, I stay in the parlor or on a deck with a book and some of their homemade cookies. If the weather is fine (it was great last week) I grab one of their bikes and cruise around the Wildlife Loop and its little trails off into the woods and sunshine. There is no place like Chincoteague or Miss Molly's. Both are a treasure, and I look forward to my post-Labor-Day vacation every year. Regarding COVID-19, I was assured in advance that all health measures would be taken and I felt extremely safe there.

You are missing out BIG TIME if you come to this island and stay anywhere else. When I say this place has everything, I mean it, from boogie boards and sunscreen to ghosts and tea service. It’s the most charming little bnb on the island, bursting with historical charm and hosted by the loveliest couple, Renata and Dave. It’s the perfect place to bring little kids, not least because of the shed full of bikes, skim boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys they let you use totally for free, literally just because they know what a pain packing for the beach can be with kids. Not that you need kids to use their gear!!! The rooms are comfortable and peaceful, with Netflix on their tvs, there are plenty of spaces to relax outside on porches with rocking chairs and wicker furniture, and the location is central to everything - the book store, restaurants, the downtown park, the movie theater, antique shopping, the wine shop, you name it!! Their book of recommendations covers everything you could want to know about chincoteague!! Plus, you haven’t lived til you’ve tried Julie’s breakfast!!

Miss Molly's location, breakfast(!!), accommodations, and vibe are just amazing. We were so happy to take a break from the city and explore the nature that Assateague had to offer. The breakfast was 2 courses and phenomenal alongside wonderful hosts who are willing to answer any questions you have about the island. Rooms are clean and comfortable, rocking chairs are located on the porch, and restaurants are easily walkable. 100% will be returning!
