My husband and I chose the Inn at Monticello for a long overdue weekend away. Carolyn and Bob welcome you with an evening cocktail on the porch and are well prepared to direct you to the local restaurants/nightlife. The next day you'll wake to a scrumptious breakfast where you'll thank yourself for staying two nights. Delicious! Its a great start...

-Beautiful Inn. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the breakfasts were excellent, and our room was beautiful. We stayed in the "cottage" suite, which had a beautiful antique four-poster bed, and a separate living area with sofa, easy chair, large table, fireplace, and TV. We have stayed in many B&B's over the years, and this was one...

Minerva and I very much enjoyed our stay! The service was very good, the innkeepers were very friendly and helpful, the house was sparkling clean and the breakfast was delicious. Our stay at the Inn at Monticello made for a perfect weekend getaway. We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Charlottesville.

The Inn at Monticello was the perfect place for my Aunt and I to stay on our visit to the Charlottesville area. The beautiful appointed Thomas Jefferson room on the first floor was exceptional and provided easy access for my elderly aunt. Our hosts were charming and offered those extra touches that many B&Bs so often lack. After settling in,...

What a lovely B&B! The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated (you'll think you're staying at Monticello), and the full breakfast served is delicious!. The large front porch is a great place to relax with a glass of wine at the end of a tourism-filled day. We were enchanted by the butterflies in their pretty gardens and the deer in...

A great place to stay and see around, close to Monticello and above all - Virgnia's vineyards. Being a foreigner I had interesting experience of having breakfests with all guests - American couples, by one large table. Delicious breakfast by the way. Caroline and Bob - many thanks. Nice colonial house, rooms spacious just enough, tremendous surroundings, very easy to...

We found this Inn on the internet 2 years ago while planning a cross-country trip. It was the last stop on our Eastern leg. The physical site is well kept and in excellent condition. The Innkeepers, Bob and Carolyn, went out of their way to make us as comfortable as we would have been in our own home. We had...

Bob and Carolyn host and operate a first-class B&B. Beautiful accommodations and setting, five minute drive to downtown Charlottesville or to Monticello, and lovely hiking trails just across the road. The breakfasts we enjoyed over three days were delicious and generous. At breakfast and at the late afternoon wine and snack event, our hosts exhibited skill in encouraging the kinds...
