Bob was 'flying solo' whilst my 12 year old daughter and I were at the Inn. He was amazing! We were warmly welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. His are the best bran muffins ever and he even whipped up another batch for us to take on our journey. However, still warm from the oven they never made it... More

This is a beautiful place to stay and the hosts could not have been nicer or more attentive. The room is nice (a little challenge to climb up to the very high bed), tastefully decorated and meticulously clean. It is a pleasure to relax in the shared living room or on the porch and enjoy the calm green environment while... More

My husband and I had a very lovely one evening stay at this B&B and would definitely visit again. The owners were very friendly and willing to share their thoughts on places to see in the area and dine. They made us feel at home. Our room was clean and very comfortable. And..the breakfast they provided was awesome...fit for foodies.

There is so much to love about Inn at Monticello. Gorgeous setting, beautiful and comfortable home, lovely people, a breakfast that will delightfully stay in my mind until we get back to IAM for our next visit. Really I can not say enough good things. Our only disappointment was not staying longer. Charlottesville is also a great, great location with... More

My husband and I stayed recently in the Madison room in order to visit Monticello. The property is beautiful and the home is lovely and meticulously furnished. We are not usually B&B-ers, so we approached our visit with trepidation. We needn't have worried. Bob and Carolyn were perfect hosts - friendly without being overly familiar. Breakfast was fabulous. The weather... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here Monday July 25 2016. We stayed in the Monroe room and it was beautiful. Bob greeted me at the door and both he and Carolyn were extremely hospitable. Breakfast was delicious and Bob made us broccoli cheddar omelettes, delicious muffins, bacon from a local farmer, and a delightful red and sweet potato hash. I... More

My wife and I spent 2 days in the cabin, the rooms were perfect and Bob and Carolyn could not have been better hosts. The restaurant Carolyn suggested was great both in ambience and the food. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to do so again.

Got there late and really didn't get to enjoy the property. A bit hot in the night. Breakfast was delicious and we got to hear some interesting stories from other guests. Then we found out the had live chicks in the chicken coup. Wow. I couldn't leave the table quick enough.

Thanks for the review - yes it was the hottest day of the year when you stayed with us (99) which is challenging to many in our business, even with central air conditioning. We're at a loss to respond to the chicken issue and how that led to the 3 star rating. We think our chicks are really cute: they... More

We had a very nice two-night stay here. The rooms are very well-appointed, and the beds comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. What more do you want? Thumbs up!

Ideally located for visiting a number of interesting historic houses. The Inn itself offers a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and very clean, offering both space and peace.
