The location was great for getting to a variety of different wineries and downtown! The innkeepers were some of the sweetest people I have ever met. The place was so well kept and beautiful. My boyfriend and I went away for the weekend before our baby comes and it was a great experience. The food that they made us for breakfast was locally sourced and delicious!

Thank you for your kind review! Yes, we think we are in the "sweet spot" with our location on land that was once owned by Thomas Jefferson himself! Best wishes with your new addition and thank you for choosing us for your recent getaway.

My husband and I spent two nights here last week between Christmas and the New Year. I can honestly say that we could not find any fault with this B&B. Upon arrival David greeted us, showed us to our room, and brought us two glasses of complimentary wine! The Inn overlooks their vineyard which is absolutely beautiful. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the chocolates, port, and complimentary drinks were a wonderful touch. On our first morning, Kathy mapped out vineyards and other points of interest for us. We were given suggestions for dinner and other things to do. Both breakfasts were outstanding. Everything is very clean and we always felt safe. I would highly recommend Arcady and am very grateful for the hospitality and fun that we experienced while there!

Arcady was a perfect spot for my wife and I to spend our honeymoon during the pandemic. The innkeepers are wonderful and the property is top notch. We stayed in the Madison room. It was spacious, comfy, and we loved the fireplace. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the innkeepers were also super helpful in providing ideas on things to do in the area.

My husband and I recently stayed at Arcady Vineyard B&B for a belated 30th anniversary celebration. I won't reiterate the positive comments that have already been mentioned numerous times by other reviewers, but suffice it to say that they're all true. I'd rather share several examples that clearly illustrate how David and Kathy go above and beyond to provide an outstanding experience for their guests. Let me first say that if we lived near Arcady, we could easily see ourselves developing a wonderful friendship with David and Kathy. When we returned to the b&b the second day we were there after a full day's activities, we ended up having such an enjoyable conversation with them that we could have chatted with them all night. When we first arrived at Arcady, we had casually mentioned that we are early risers. Without our even requesting early coffee, Dave immediately offered to have coffee ready for us ahead of the usual time that he puts it out. While we were eating breakfast our second morning at Arcady, I asked Dave where they got the cellular window shades in the breakfast room. Even though he and Kathy were in the middle of serving breakfast to the guests, he looked up the information for me and had an answer before we even left the breakfast table. Lastly, though Dave and Kathy had arranged the breakfast room to allow for appropriate social distancing, we noticed that one of the couples who were staying at the inn while we were there had some concerns about dining near other guests due to Covid. We watched Dave discreetly and compassionately handle the situation to ensure the comfort of these guests. Dave and Kathy exemplify true customer service, and we highly recommend Arcady without any reservations for anybody desiring accommodations in the Charlottesville area.

We can't thank you enough for noting and sharing these little details! These are representative of the things we enjoy providing to make each guest feel special which we believe makes the entire B&B experience stand out from other accommodation types. Many of our dear guests have become friends and that is another plus to this business! Many thanks for choosing us for your 30 year anniversary celebration and also for taking the time to share your perspective here. Happy holidays to you both!
