We just returned from a 4-night stay at the Leathers-Snyder B & B in Charlottesville. Our primary purpose for going to the area was to see Monticello, which did not disappoint. The B & B was a great place to relax after spending the day wandering around Virginia. Also went to wineries, UVA, Staunton, and the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Susan... More

Our first stay in a B&B and it did not disappoint. Our room was lovely and the hosts were warm and friendly! Very convenient to downtown. We visited Monticello, Jefferson Vineyards, and Ash Lawn-Highland while there. Would definitely recommend to others if traveling to the area!

Leathers-Snyder was so fantastic! The set up and accommodations were incredibly nice and that was only topped by Susan and Jeff and their hospitality and warm welcome. Breakfast each day was great and the location couldn't have been more perfect and close to downtown. It was so easy to walk around and get to places from the b&b. I'd highly... More

My husband and I just had fantastic weekend in Charlottesville, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leathers-Snyder Inn. The Inn itself is beautiful -- much newer and nicer than I expected -- and Susan and Jeff were great hosts. They were available when needed, but not at all hovering, the way I always fear B&B owners will be. The location... More

Spent a weekend here over Halloween weekend. Great location, great room and great hospitality. Make sure you check out the nearby wineries. The Trump winery was especially nice. The views from their property are amazing.Beautiful location We drove down from Pennsylvania ...well worth the trip.

We stayed for two nights over the Columbus Day weekend. We hadn't been to Charlottesville and decided we would prefer a B&B over the standard hotel - something warm and inviting reflecting the history of this charming city. We were not disappointed! Susan and Jeff are fantastic hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our room and bathroom were very... More

We stayed here for a weekend while we were in Charlottesville celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was a good location, walking distance to the pedestrian mall area with lots of shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Katelyn suite, which was very spacious. The bathroom was very nice - double sinks, lots of counter space, nice clean shower stall, and... More

Very well maintained bed and breakfast. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is on the edge of town. I could easily walk to the downtown area for dinner. Parking is in the back. Easy access to your vehicle. Good value.

We recently stayed at the Leathers Snyder Bed and Breakfast after deciding to make a very last minute mini-getaway trip to Charlottesville. We were pleasantly surprised by their availability and prices, especially compared to other B&Bs in the area. Susan and Jeff were absolutely wonderful, inviting and warm. Their home was an absolute masterpiece, Jeff and Susan have completely renovated... More

Jeff and Susan are wonderful hosts--they know the city, and this really did feel 'right at home.' Great location, close to everything--downtown, UVA, and an easy drive to wineries, Monticello--we just loved staying here. I can't remember when I've had such a positive B&B experience.
