Campground is very nice with lots to do for kids and adults. We did not get to enjoy much and that was thanks to Hurricane Hermine. Tried to rent Golf Carts only to be told they were broken. We stayed in a cabin and although I thought it was a good hike from the boathouse it was close to two... More

My husband, children 4 and under & I stayed for 6 nights. We loved the pools & camp store. The sites are very close together but fortunately we had the place for the most part to our selves. The showers were free but not the newest. Quiet time wasn't till 11pm which is something to consider when traveling with small... More

Pros- clean, affordable, daily activities to keep kids occupied, crabbing is awesome, stores have everything you need. Free pedal boats and golf. Pools are great and plenty of lounge chairs. Adult pool is the absolute best at sunset. Cons- very weird policy for visiting guests. Staff all has different answers to basic questions on policies. Golf carts are on shortage... More

We arrived late Thursday evening and was given the lot info. After getting to the lot, it was terrible. There was no way our camper was going to fit with the connections. After we got a ranger, he was able to get us settled in another site. Rhe crafts are great but the employees are so miserable. We did two.... More

We drove over 2 1/2 hours to see the campground. Was told we couldn't because of the weekend. We where looking to book a week. However we couldn't see the campground so we will spend our hard earned money else where. If someone could of just took us for a tour on a golf cart or something. We would booked... More

My family has been coming to Cherrystone since the 80's. There have been some really nice changes like the added pool, splash zone, balloon wars, baby pool, piers were replaced, farm shack, no more mosquito sprays at night....(thank god, it smelled like stinky armpits)....Some things that changed that are a real bummer is the nature walk is closed, can't use... After my trip to Cherrystone last year, I promised I would write a follow up review of my vacation.. I did have to wait 3 months in order to re write my review.. here I am a little over a year later. I had a fabulous time, it is a family resort so there isn't TOO much for just adults... More

We took our "new" used pop up camper for it's maiden voyage to Cherrystone. We weren't disappointed at all - well, except for the excessive heat - but we were well entertained. With five swimming pools at our disposal, paddle boats, fishing, crabbing, jump pads, activities and more. Our campsite was about 50 yards from the Chesapeake Bay in a... More

We had a large camp site with a great view of the sandy beach and bay.The campground was nearly full and it was full of life. Lots of children and adult activities, and even themed weekends. Boating, fishing, crabbing, biking, swimming, live music, live dancers just too many things to list. No time for boredum here! The general store was... More
