Friends and I went for a fundraiser- bbq, beer and oysters and decided to stay for the night. The building is old and although the rooms have been remodeled at some point, there is much room for improvement. The carpet in the room was filthy, with large visible stains and the

This was the NASTIEST place my husband and I ever stayed. Upon entering the room I was met by a roach. The soap dish was barely hanging in the shower. The carpet had too many stains to count Do I need to say more?

Because the CBBT was closed to traffic for 17 hours on Monday Oct 1 we were forced into an unplanned overnight stay at the Sunset Beach Resort. The outside of the motel looks okay, but the room we had was very disappointing. The carpet was filthy with sand, stains and pet

Can I bring a small 7 week old kitten in a carrier for a 1 night stay
Yes. We brought our cat,no problem. We didn't keep our cat in carrier in room. Just be sure to notify hotel when making reservation that you are bringing kitty. They will give you a pet friendly room and there will be an extra charge. Also, leave "no maid svc needed" so no one lets kitty out. We travel with our cat and use a travel litter box that we dispose of after trip. Our cat is a great traveler. It feels most comfortable in carrier when we are driving.

I noticed you have dog rooms. Is there a charge for dogs? What restrictions do you have for dogs?
Hi Judith! Yes, we do offer a number of pet friendly hotel rooms. There is currently a $10 nightly cleaning fee per pet for the hotel. The resort does have a breed restriction policy. Restricted dog breeds include Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Doberman, Wolf Breeds, American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier or any mix thereof. We certainly hope to be able to allow all breeds in the future. Thank you!
