Wow we had a great time at this nice friendly Bed and Breakfast. The owners Dixie and Scott are very accommodating and friendly. We arrived and were greeted at the door.We were given a tour and met the family dogs. We stayed in the yellow room which had a King size bed, a table , two chairs , a small... More

My boyfriend and I ventured to VA from PA for a weekend getaway. Neither of us stayed at a B&B before and didn't know what to expect. What a great first time B&B experience! We immediately set out on the wine tour and it was phenomenal! Steve was so easy to chat with and so informative of the area. Each... More

I would like to echo my friend's review titled "Weekend in heaven" as the rooms so were so beautifully decorated and comfortable, and we spent some time in the living and dining areas playing board games and relaxing in front of the fireplace. We also enjoyed getting to know Scott & Dixie's 3 llamas, one of which (Steve) they helped... More

We took a trip to celebrate our anniversary and had a great time. The owners are very nice and treated us like special guests the entire weekend. Dixie cooked us a wonderful breakfast each morning. Scott was an excellent host. We highly recommend the wine tour. He took us to four wineries and served us a great lunch. The beds... More

The Bed and Breakfast was heavenly. The beds were so soft, warm, and inviting that I laid in bed for a couple of hours when I woke up. The breakfast was fit for a king and included a yogurt parfait, cranberry Christmas loaf, roasted "home grown" fingerling potatoes, roasted pepper fritatta, and sausage. The best thing about the trip was... More

My best friend and I met at Thistle Ridge this past weekend for a much-needed getaway and had a wonderful time. When we arrived, Scott and Dixie gave a tour of the property and introduced us to all their sweet animals (we will always remember Steve the Alpaca and Widget the Cat). We stayed in the Blue Room and it... More

I wanted to take my husband someplace different for a late birthday gift. This place is amazing! Scott and Dixie are wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel at home! The winery tour was fun, we didn't feel rushed, and Dixie packed us an incredible lunch! Loved the farm, our room, the animals, and the meals... More

Living in a big city for the 4th of july weekend we wanted to go out of the busy city, with another couple, and get some nice relaxing in. Never stayed at a B&B before but wanted to at least try it out. We were very pleasantly surprised and we want to go back :) Upon arriving we were happily... More

We were attending the Redwing Roots Music Festival. Other than camping, there are few options close to the venue. Lucky for us, we found the Thistle Ridge B&B. Dixie and Scott are flat out amazing. They've turned their farmhouse into a fine little B&B. In addition to a great breakfast that kept us going all day at the festival, they... More

My boyfriend and I went to Thistle Ridge for our 3rd anniversary. We had both never been to a bed and breakfast before and were quite excited. Scott and Dixie’s hospitality may have spoiled us to any future B&B experiences. We opted for the winery tour, expecting something like a wine bus or wedding party, but instead we were treated...
