My daughter and I were on a college tour and took a side trip through the mountains for father's day weekend. We were directed to Vanquility Acres Inn as the hotel we had booked our original stay had a mix up in the reservations. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the Inn and very pleased with the...

Ellen and her husband were wonderful. Our stay was amazing. We had their homemade honey, fished in the pond, and fed the baby goats. Amazing quiet clean place to stay with little kids. Will definately stay again. Location is close to everything in Bedford.

Vanquility Acres is a lovely inn, and was the perfect location for a short getaway for our family. The property was beautifully maintained and our suite had everything a family would need. Our entire experience at this inn was relaxing and serene; the view of the mountains and pond was breathtaking. Our 11 year-old daughter caught her very first fish...

We recently stayed at Vanquility Acres Inn but sadly it was only for one night which was simply not long enough. We stayed in the Garden Suite which was a beautiful and very spacious room with a beautiful view of the grounds. Ellen and John are great hosts producing a fabulous breakfast. John is also happy to show off his...

The room was very clean, well appointed and thought out. Ellen and John were excellent hosts. The breakfast was great! We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast. Definitely stay here again if in the area. Even though location if off the beaten path; the drive is well worth it

Ellen and john were excellent hosts. They made our stay comfortable and they filled us with history and helpful information. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The goats and chickens added to our visit. Max was friendly and craved attention as he stuck his little nose through the fence.

The home was very clean. My room had a king size bed with a door leading to an outside patio. The back yard was a lovely setting of the pond and the mountain as a back drop, very quite and peaceful. Perfect place to read your favorite book or take a nap. The breakfast was amazing. The town of Bedford...

Was in the area on business. Never stayed at a B&B before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The place is absolutely gorgeous, with a pond, and the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop. They raise their own goats and chickens, so the eggs for breakfast were very farm fresh! Very friendly folks and if I'm ever in...

Ellen and John Everett, the owners, have a tag line which reads, "come as strangers, leave as friends." This is most certainly true! They both made us feel so at home in their comfortable country home. John, a gregarious country Renaissance man, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. And Ellen, John's "boss" was a gracious hostess....
