We were on our way to our ski house last month when VT got 53" of snow in four days and we got stuck going up our mountain in a snow bank until midnight. We called The White House and Staci was glad to put us up for the night and even came outside and helped us get our car...

My wife and I had an enjoyable, although brief stay at the White House Inn. Hostess Stacy was very welcoming and very helpful with local information. Our room (#1) was clean and spacious with private bath. A woodburning fireplace created a cozy and romantic setting. We made a fire and it "drew" well. There were four choices for breakfast and...

The White House had been recommended to me by my former boss who had a house in Wilmington. The first time we stayed at the Inn was in 2008, to celebrate my partner's birthday. We stayed three days and had a wonderful time. Last year, we did not go but we made sure to go back this year again (for...

Nesteled on a hill in the small town of Wilmington, Vermont is this wounderful Inn with a breathtaking view of the mountains which is comparable only to viewing a Thomas Kinkade painting of a winter wounderland. Upon arrival we were greeted by Stacy the Innkeeper who welcomed us as if we were family. Our room was magnificent with a wood...

We stayed here for our honeymoon. From our initial contact Stacy, the owner/manager, was accommodating and tried to please us as much as she could without being overbearing or smothering. The wait staff was friendly, and pleasant, and always tried to do their best . The place itself is a beautiful refurbished mansion that is now a classy yet down home...

We returned to The White House for our 25th wedding anniversary where we went for our honeymoom in 1985. We were very happy to see that very little has changed. Our room was clean and cozy, the breakfast (and optional dinner) were delicious, and the service was impecable. Our new hosts were very friendly and made our stay relaxed and...

My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon 20 years ago at the White house Inn and were back recently to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time!! The innkeeper and her husband were gracious and incredibly accomodating; we had brought our infant son and so could not dine in the main dining room. They graciously set...

We had such a wonderful time at the White House. We have been coming to Wilmington, VT for years and cannot imagine staying anywhere but here. This house has an exciting historical heritage and the beauty and complexity of the architecture has been maintained throughout the years. We loved the fireplace in our room, the pool and sauna, and the...

Wonderful wedding experience, I would recommend the White House Inn to anyone. Big or small function, romantic getaway, a must see in Southern Vermont. Friendly and attentive staff, dinner was excellent, no complaints at all. This historic inn is a wonder, I give 5 stars without hesitation.
