We had dined at the inn about a year ago and looked forward to returning, unfortunately the inn has been sold and is under new ownership. The tasting menu we received was a four course meal, this was the only option. There were three main course selections, none were appealing. I would call the selections bazzar, the actual dishes were not good at all. Weston is a great town and deserves a great inn, my hope is that this ownership doesn't destroy it!

We spent a ski trip overnight at the inn on a snowy winters eve. Our room was clean, quaint, and conveniently supplied. Views out the window were pure Vermont. Very close to the Vermont Country Store and about a half hour from Stratton. We enjoyed the plentiful 5 course meal for $29 and don’t know how they do it (but glad they do). Breakfast was an equal treat. Can’t wait to go back.

I commend the new owners in friendliness, willingness to accommodate and a simple, homey prix fixe menu for a reasonable price. Service is not up to the professional standards of similar local establishments but this is expected as the hone their processes...so be kind and supportive to this new family of inn keepers. We had a delicious meal, did not feel rushed and will return.

A party of six of us had a good meal, although the Inn had only just reopened. The existing owner of 18 years has sold up but was working with the new owner as part of the handover, and it had only just reopened following this event. The Inn is clearly in a state of flux because of this. The online menu doesn’t currently reflect what they serve, but this will change. We were offered a limited choice (there were no printed menus yet) which started with home made mushroom soup, followed by a lovely fresh salad with home made maple sauce. We then had a choice of either pork or chicken with a choice of veg. Very limited, but very tasty. They had a few cans and bottles of beer, which quickly ran out and a choice of 2 red wines. Service was friendly and homely, but it’s all a bit low key really, although the new owner was as helpful as he could be (aided by his Mum and Dad as servers). It is the only restaurant and bar in Weston, and no doubt things will change as the new owner gets his feet under the table.

We stayed at the Inn at Weston for two nights while on a leaf watching trip. Linda, the owner, was very friendly and answer our questions promptly, offered suggestions on where to dine, gave us a tour of the house, upgraded our room, and made a delicious breakfast. The Inn is a classic 1850's house (with another home across the street). This was a good location to see the towns of south Vermont. Our room had a gas fireplace and a jetted tub. The bed in our room (Tuttle) was comfortable but needs to be replaced as it has bunched in the middle. There is a large, landscaped yard that is probably lovely in the spring and summer with a gazebo. During our stay a storm came through and left thousands of people without electricity, including us! We did not have light, heat, or water (the well has an electric pump), however, Linda and her employee, Pat, made the best of it and were able to offer us coffee, juice, sweet rolls, yogurt and fruit. They really came through and we enjoyed our stay.
