Our stay at this rather rustic lodge was a pleasant experience. A good choice when you go skiing at Mount Snow, particularly when you travel with children. In the evening they had great fun playing in the common room, and the adults enjoying conversation either in the same room or at the bar. The rooms were clean and the bathroom...

We stayed at the Kitzhof for a ski weekend. Allison and Simon were very hospitable. The room we stayed in was warm and cozy. Everything was very clean and neat. There is a common room a fire place, couches a BYOB bar and a flatscreen. But, no need for the TV just play some foozball have a beverage and watch...

I thought this was really good value for what it is, an easy, affordable option if you are skiing at Mt. Snow, or even Stratton. To be clear, this is NOT a "four-star" hotel. It is rustic, with a mid-century lodge/motel feel. The rooms are a little funky, not necessarily spacious or beautiful, the bathroom was small. So what. The...

Thanks for the nice review but just to be clear, you are right we are not a 4 star hotel, we never have been and we never try to be. 3 star, possibly! We are rustic Austrian style Ski Lodge/Inn. As advertised !

Third visit to the Kitzhof in three years and another great experience. Simon and Allison don't disappoint. They're kind, gracious, helpful and just nice folks. And motorcyclists, that never hurts. Breakfast is always good, accommodations are fine and staying here is always a great experience. If you're planning a trip to the area, this is a great place to stay....

The Kitzhof is an old school, knotty pine-paneled style small hotel which is clean, warm and welcoming. The breakfasts are made to order and the hosts are accomodating. Pet friendly accomodations are available. I would definitely stay here again.

Best breakfast, best sleep, best hosts.... We came for one night and stayed for two. Room has a blackout blind and was so quiet that we slept way beyond our usual wake up time and almost missed breakfast which would've been a terrible shame as it was amazing. Locally sourced ingredients, plenty of choice and cooked to order. Hosts Simon...

Quiet place. Nice breakfast made to order. Room needed a good dusting and vacuum and could use some updating. Comfortable area to sit outside. Very friendly helpful innkeepers.Close to restaurants one within walking distance. Says they have WiFi but we couldn't get it to work.

Our group of seven had an amazing stay in mid June. We had two rooms but the commons area allowed us to hang out as a family unit. The hand made breakfast was great. The charm of the inn was nice. Both of my teenaged boys asked when we would be back. Could not say enough nice things about Kitzhof...

We stayed in a two bedroom room for 2 nights and 3 days- this was the most comfortable stay I've had away from home. The owners are an incredibly sweet couple, who warmly welcomed us. The breakfast was made to order, and we were consistently checked on if we needed any additional amenities (towels, hot tub, etc). Definitely making this...

My wife and I have stayed here about 8 times and have always enjoyed our stay. It is like a second home because the inn keepers are very friendly. Alison and Simon always take care of there guests if anything is needed. The breakfast is awesome and we have met a lot of nice people. As long as they are...
