Spectacular panoramic mountain views. At Cooper Hill you can watch the moon rise and the sunset at the same time! A great place for weddings retreats and relaxation in the summer and for skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

Cooper Hill Inn is a perfect place for families or friends. The rooms are very comfortable and there is ample public space for playing cards, reading, or watching movies. The views both east and west are beyond description and there are hiking trails just up the road. Mount Snow is nearby for skiers and the lovely town of Wilmington is perfect for history buffs and shoppers. We were upgraded to suites since the inn was quiet during the week. Charles' gardens are stunning and Lee made us "to order" delicious breakfasts. She also made us laugh! Thank you so much Charles and Lee for a great stay.

We stayed four nights in March. We were there to ski Mount Snow (10 minute drive). The inn was beautiful – bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean with good water pressure and the room itself was large. The common living room had a working wood fireplace!. We had clear skies so we could see the stars (outside) at night and the sunshine against Mount Snow every morning from the dining room. Lee and Charles are hosts extraordinaire! Breakfast was excellent which was cooked to order served after a fresh fruit salad and the best muffins. We definitely recommend staying at Cooper Hill Inn and will stay again next time we come to Dover, Vermont.

Thank you so much for your kind review. March was quite the month for skiers with 90 inches of snow! We can’t promise that again but if you get a chance to come up this month we will have about 150 peonies in bloom. A different look!

Charles and Lee are absolutely wonderful hosts that maintained the perfect balance of making us feel like we were with old friends on the deck and giving us privacy at the same time. Our days started with coffee on the front porch watching the sunrise over the eastern mountains to evenings walking through the beautiful flower gardens and enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset over Mount Snow from the deck. What can be better than fresh raspberries from the garden with blueberry pancakes for breakfast! Close to everything we wanted to do - we loved the Inn and our hosts and can't wait to return.

Thank you for your lovely review. Summer is probably our favorite season (although we do like to ski:-) ) we would love to share another glass of wine with you and enjoy the peonies which are just starting to open. There are a lot of them ;-)

Beautiful inn at the crest of a hill with wonderful sunrise views! The gardens on the grounds are gorgeous, and Charlie and Lee make you feel like your family. The last evening they came out and hung out with us on the back deck. It was quiet, peaceful, and so relaxing! They really make you feel at home. And the breakfast.... MMMMM <3 We'll be back. It's incredibly relaxing here!

My husband and I chose Cooper Hill off a list of inns that were participating in the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge Groupon. Just driving up to the inn, we knew we chose the right place--stunning view of the mountains from the property. Rooms were clean and comfortable (a big deal when you're dealing with a 6'5" person in a New England inn), and there are a few nice, large common rooms with plenty of activities. The owners Charles and Lee are really the main selling point. They're lovely, interesting people and were very hospitable, offering delicious breakfasts made with local ingredients and great conversation. They also made some wonderful recommendations for other restaurants in the area. Overall, we had a really fun, relaxing weekend, and we're looking forward to another stay here. Can't recommend this place enough!

We stayed two nights in January. The Inn is located a short drive above the main town of Dover and close to Mount Snow Ski resort as well as Stratton a bit up farther north. The views are fantastic with open field out front and out back, a big yard and view of Mount Snow in the distance. I suggest being up early to see the sunrise or looking up at the stars in the evening. The property is sizable and so is the inn. There is a nice communal lounge with TV on the second floor as well as living room and dining room on the main floor. There was good wifi in our room, though no TV. Beds were comfortable and room pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a couple of hot options from the kitchen in addition to the light breakfast buffet (we liked the pancakes and french toast). Cannot say enough about how gracious and pleasant our hosts, Lee and Charles were - had some informative and enjoyable chats with them. Would highly recommend staying at Cooper Hill Inn, and would stay again next time we are in the area!

We wanted to stay here but it didn't work out on this trip. But we took a drive up to the property and were in absolute awe of the view - I hope they own the field across the street and no one builds something to obstruct the view which goes on for at least 100 miles. It's up a steep hill but I assume that Vermont snow plows would make this easily accessible in the wintertime. Hoping to actually stay here in the future!

Thank you for stoping by and seeing out view! We are sorry you weren't able to stay with us last summer. If you come now (:-)) you can see those Vermont Snowplows in action! The skiing is excellent with plenty more snow on the way. If not, please try to come next summer. We will treat you like a returning guest!

I stayed in the Cooper Hill Inn during a short trip to Vermont last week, 2 nights over the weekend. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and helpful (recommending three lovely places to eat), the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was yummy, and the views fantastic. All one can ask from a B&B. Thank you both for a great stay, Dave in England.

We are a Men's Fellowship group that meet once a year at the Cooper Hill Inn, we have always enjoyed a warm reception and good food for our group that can number up to 24 individuals. Charles and Lee, the inn keepers, are gracious hosts and keep us well fed for the weekend.
