What an amazing venue and cool, super-chill vibe to host our annual sales kick-off. Cleanest accommodations I've ever experienced at a B&B/Inn. Duane and Leah were amazing hosts and the attention to detail and eclectic design was incredibly entertaining.

Our adult children spent a relaxed vacation at Grunberg Haus this summer and loved it! They suggested our family to go in the fall. Our family went and stayed five nights at the Grunberg Haus at the beginning of this October, caught the end of Vermont foliage! This little beautiful inn is built at the middle of a hill. The three cabins which are at a little higher ground can see the mountains cross the road. The colors are beautiful! We loved to take a walk in the woods right outside the inn. The location is perfect for all seasons: it is only 30 minutes away from Stowe! We stayed the top floor suite. The beddings are clean and comfortable! The living room is very cozy with a nice electronic fire place. The hallway has a big shelf that we can put all our stuffs there. At the first floor, the great room has two big tables and sofa area with TV and fire place. There are two small activity rooms also with TV and fireplaces. The owners are great hosts! Duane is one of nicest guys one can meet! Leah is the hardest working person who would get up in early mornings just to get the best yogurt for the guests before it was sold out! One night, the electricity was out due to the storm, the electricity generator was one almost immediately! So is the Wi-Fi! We already thought of going back at the time we left! Oh, one more important thing: it is a dog friendly inn, we brought our 4month old puppy who made some mess and very happy! The inn dog Neko is the best dog one can expect: very gentle, polite, friendly, and bueatiful. He came to visit us in our rooms from time to time and bring us to a walk too!

This Inn is so eclectic in its design and decoration. So many things to look at and you discover something new every day. The owners are so friendly and laid back. They interact with every guest and are truly nice people. There are two dogs that are also staples on the property. From fall foliage to bon fires, this place feels like home.

Was looking to book a last minute mini vacation for labor day weekend and I’m so glad I found this gem! My boyfriend and I were looking for a peaceful getaway to recharge & unwind. Upon driving up, the inn and cabins were all lit up and had a Christmas in September vibe. Neko (Duane and Leah’s dog) greeted us & essentially guided us where to park haha. We stayed Friday - Monday and I can’t say enough good things about Duane and Leah (the owners). From the breakfast snacks and coffee they put out every morning, to the recommendations of some cool places to check out around the Waterbury, VT area I was beyond impressed with their hospitality and how they make all their guests feel like life long friends! We stayed in one of the cabins and the views were amazing. If you’re looking for a warm, cozy stay filled with vintage decor, badass vinyls, & a location with great hiking, food, and brews nearby, this is the place for you. Grünberg Haus felt like our home away from home and I can’t wait to go back, I miss it already!
