Positives: Clean, great location to sugarbush, good amount of space, functional kitchen, reasonable rates, helpful staff Negatives: some areas are showing their age and need to be updated, restrictive check in timing (we had no problems) Would stay here again for a simple place to sleep on ski trip.
The location of the resort if convenient to Sugarbush. The unit was small but satisfactory and clean. It would have been difficult for 4 people which it was promoted as. We liked a separate bedroom but were disappointed no TV in it. The kitchenette was also satisfactory, no dishwasher. It was nice to have access to a hot tub but the edges were wither stained or dirty which was disconcerting. Looks like there was new carpeting and some new furnishings in the resort. So, mostly the stay was adequate.
We enjoyed our ski vacation at Sugarbush. The “ no frills” property is conveniently located close to the mountain. We didn’t have any problems with the management, but did see all of the threatening signs mentioned in other reviews. I made sure we arrived during the brief “check in” window. There is a grocery store located nearby and plenty of restaurants. On the days we didn’t ski, we toured the area including Burlington, Montpellier and, Ben & Jerry’s.
Stayed here in February of 2019 for a few days but ended up leaving early because I just couldn't stay there anymore. This property should be removed from the RCI system permanently. You're are truly scraping the bottom of the barrel when you stay here. Everything is dated and worn. The hot tub is in the strangest of locations being that it's right outside the front door so everyone coming in can wave at you. I really feel sorry for those who are stuck owning a timeshare here. Talk about a real boat anchor of an investment. The property should be donated to the local fire department so they can practice on it.
This is a small. simple, basic, and no frills resort. There are no activities and no restaurant on site. It is adequately maintained and clean. They do have a weight room with a family game/lounge area which was surprisingly better than expected. The entire facility is managed/serviced by a married couple, and their availability throughout the day is quite limited and sparse. The best comparison I would make is this: think of going to a hotel that is run by two people. We selected it simply because it was a couple of miles from Sugarbush Ski Resort so it was adequate for our purposes.
