The service offered by the inn keepers was superb. Each morning there was a nutritious and delicious breakfast. A different menu each of the 4 days. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and spotless. The town offered a variety of shops and a good farmers market on Saturday. Many good restaurants were close by, within walking distance or a short... More

My husband and I recently stayed at this classic, cozy B & B with my college friends for a mini-reunion and it was just PERFECT! The inn is rich in history and its website describes the changes in the building since the 1800's, but the rooms themselves and the decor reflect the owners' appreciation of their heritage, without any sacrifice... We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely long weekend at this charming inn with a group of friends and were treated royally by our hosts Jon and Vicki - definitely the hostesses with the most-est! The breakfasts were fantastic and we were treated to a special dinner prepared by chef Jon complete with blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Jon and Vicki were very... More

Inn keepers Vickie and Jon are the best! We rented all the guest rooms for a reunion with a group of friends for a long weekend in July. Everyone LOVED the Inn and was so appreciative of Vickie and Jon's genuine hospitality. Vickie and Jon worked hard to make our stay the best! Vicky is the perfect host. Jon is... More

Just returned to PA from five days at the Waitsfield Inn in Vermont. It was the best vacation experience I've ever had, The room was perfect, but what sets the Inn apart are the owners, Vicki and Jon. Jon is a world class chef, whose attention to detail, particularly with regard to spices (many of them grown in Jon's herb... More

We spent 3 days at the inn with a group of friends. The innkeepers Tom and Vickie went out of their way to make sure we all had a pleasant stay. We had a fantastic group dinner prepared by Tom which was delicious. The breakfast fare was different every morning and each was very tasty. The room was small but... More

We recently returned from four nights at the Waitsfield Inn. We were part of a group of 20, including 8 couples, all friends from college 40 years ago. Vicki and Jon, the innkeepers, couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. The breakfasts (a different menu each morning) were delicious. The dinner we had arranged there was outstanding. The inn itself... More

My husband and I spent four nights at the Waitsfield Inn with a group of college friends. (We're all in our mid-60's!) Vicki and Jon treated us like family, instantly accommodated every need, and offered so many helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants. The Inn itself is historic and wonderfully charming. We especially enjoyed the outside seating area with our... More

I recently stayed at the Waitsfield Inn with my boyfriend on our way through backpacking the Long Trail. We were both very pleasantly surprised with how at home we felt while staying here. We were offered a room, free breakfast, water bottles, laundry done for free, a ride to the trailhead, and even an invitation to dinner with the host's... More

If you are traveling to the Mad River Valley, you really should stay here. Vicki and Jon are extremely gracious and accommodating hosts and some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. The meals are outstanding, the rooms quaint and comfortable, and the Inn is filled with Colonial history. A quiet and relaxing stay in the middle of the... More
