I recently stayed at the Waitsfield Inn with my boyfriend on our way through backpacking the Long Trail. We were both very pleasantly surprised with how at home we felt while staying here. We were offered a room, free breakfast, water bottles, laundry done for free, a ride to the trailhead, and even an invitation to dinner with the host's... More

If you are traveling to the Mad River Valley, you really should stay here. Vicki and Jon are extremely gracious and accommodating hosts and some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. The meals are outstanding, the rooms quaint and comfortable, and the Inn is filled with Colonial history. A quiet and relaxing stay in the middle of the... More

Downstairs reading room, living room and dining area are comfortable. I liked the history of the people who lived here in the 19 th century. Bed was comfortable, quick hot water, not a lot of space in the room. Friendly staff. Coffee was good quality and the blueberry waffles with fresh berries and grapefruit delicious.

A group of us stayed in this lovely historic inn. The owners were gracious and so accommodating. The building was amazing and the history behind it was interesting. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. We all enjoyed our stay at The Waitsfield Inn and would definitely stay there again.

Vicki and Jon are great host providing service above and beyond what is expected. The breakfast was outstanding on Monday morning eggs, sausage, and parfait. They even provided a breakfast on Sunday morning before normal breakfast hour to the runners preparing to run the Mad Marathon. They provided a pasta dinner the evening before the marathon that was super.

My family stayed here for a two-night ski vacation. The Inn is beautiful, comfortable and in a great location. We loved hanging out in the common room in the evening, playing games or reading in front of the fire. The rooms are well done and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and it was nice to come "home"... More

Such a delight to find a lovely space to stay in Waitsfield, Colorado, where I was traveling to see my son who is at a camp nearby. The host is truly nice and our two breakfasts were beautiful and got us going for the morning.

We just returned from a delightful stay at the Waitsfield Inn over the Thanksgiving day holidays. Conveniently located on Route 100 right smack in the middle of Waitsfield Village, this Inn was built in 1825 and has twelve (12) rooms, all of which are on the Inn's second floor. Each room has its own character and we booked two (2)... More

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Waitsfield Inn, spending Canadian Thanksgiving in Vermont. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous and is centrally situated in the heart of Waitsfield and the various shoppes and attractions, such as the farmers market (Inn is right across the straight). Restaurants are also within walking distance. We were greeted by Vickie later Friday evening,... More

We've stayed at the Waitsfield Inn twice now, and won't hesitate to go back. It's quiet, quaint, & comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. Great location in beautiful Waitsfield (close to Sugarbush) and the innkeepers are very welcoming/accommodating. Definitely recommend.
