The Yellow Farmhouse Inn is a favorite destination where we have gathered with friends. The inn is charming with beautiful and unique rooms. Very relaxing inside and out. The property is beautifully maintained and is a great spot to simply sit and enjoy the view or is located near town with many places to explore and many outdoor activities. Breakfasts and the fresh made treats were delicious! Mike and Sandra are amazing hosts and we always look forward to our stay.

We searched for a place to stay near Sugerbush and Madriver Glen for a romantic valentines ski trip and found the Yellow Farmhouse Inn. It is exceptional! Mike and Sandra our inn keepers are friendly and helpful. Mike Called several restaurants to help us get in for Valentines dinner and that place didn’t not disappoint either. Stay here if you want a beautiful friendly experience in a place that is clean like no one has been here before! Oh and then there is the breakfast... yum!!! Thanks Sandra and Mike!

In order to address an item high on my mother’s bucket list I searched for the best place to stay while on a leaf peeping adventure. I’m a tenacious researcher, painstakingly so, and we’re both very particular about what works for us. The cozy Yellow Farmhouse Inn and its delightful owners were above and beyond what we hoped for. We stayed in the Jaqueline room and slept so comfortably waking up to exquisite breakfasts. After exploring many little Vermont towns we returned to home made cookies (the snicker doodles were like no other I ever had) and the warmest welcomes. I can usually find good restaurants on TripAdvisor, but had struggled a little thinking we had to drive almost an hour for dinner, but we asked the owner and he sent us just down the block to a unique place connected to the small movie theatre. The atmosphere and the food were an A+. A perfect suggestion after many hours of driving through brilliant colored leaves. We left the inn for a long drive back to New York so very content with our mom-n-daughter adventure. I made a note that I would like to take my husband and son back there on our next drive up to Maine in the summer. Bravo Yellow Farmhouse Inn!

Make and Sandy are great hosts for this charming old farmhouse that is walking distance from town. AND the breakfasts are incredible!! The farmhouse has been updated and the room was very comfortable. Visit in the fall like we did and check out the fall colors on the large porch.

This is a wonderful and cozy bed and breakfast. It has rustic charm and delicious food! All you can ask for in a B&B. We were in town for a wedding and arrived early and Mike, who was the first to greet us, allowed us to be a bit early (about an hour early from check-in time). We were already okay with waiting and just wanted to check the place out but the room was already ready for our stay. We stayed in the Jacqueline room that had the Jacuzzi tub in it. The room had a window AC unit but if you're hot people and it's a summer month, you may sleep a bit hot. The room itself was very clean. The TV was small but we didn't use it and I don't think it is encouraged to waste time watching TV anyways. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch and looking around when we did have extra time there. The tub was large and functional and the bathroom was very nice! It had a very antique/old ranch house style. Our favorite part was coming "home" for the day and seeing a treat on the table for us to grab. My favorite was the snicker doodle cookies! As I said, the food was great! The breakfast area inside is small but there is extra seating both in and outside the inn. I appreciated the wine opener and corker also that was on location. I had bought some wine and was worried about keeping it for our stay. They had an assortment of extra goodies as well as games (but we did not partake in those). Nighttime was very quiet as were the other guests during our stay. And I could just spend an entire day alone just relaxing and sight seeing in that area. Overall an A+ stay, highly recommend and will most likely re-visit again!
