My wife and I spent 4 days at the Mad River Inn last week and could not have been more pleased with our stay! The room was clean and welcoming, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfasts each day were amazing. My wife has certain food allergies and traveling can present challenges but no issues here. We'd advised Luc,... More

Only stayed one night at the Inn but it was a perfect stopping off place travelling along route 100. The scenery is beautiful and will be more so in the fall. This would also be a perfect location for the skiing resorts. The bedroom was clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. When we arrived at the Inn, Luc, wasn't... More

I visited the Inn last week with a friend. I cannot say enough about how kind and hospitable the owners and staff were. The rooms were clean and comfortable with fluffy towels. I was on the first floor in a king bed. Coffee was ready early and the breakfasts were delicious. This is a great place to stay and within... More

We have stayed here twice and both times we could not have been more satisfied. The Inn is beautiful, and Luc has done a great job keeping it that way! He is a wonderful cook and host. Breakfast is always above expectations. I know my 20-something kids would love, love, love the lower level with the pool table! The Inn... More

My husband and I stayed at the Mad River Inn a few weeks ago on the suggestion of friends who had stumbled upon it earlier in the ski season. We had such a perfectly relaxing weekend and will definitely return. Sugarbush is a short drive away and the conditions on the mountain were good...not too crowded! We arrived Friday night... More

What an excellent bed and breakfast find! Wonderful accomodations with a great host! We stayed at this beautiful b&b with 7 other couples/friends over President's Day Weekend. It was within great driving distance to Sugarbush and Mad River for skiing and lots of local restaurants, shopping, and other outdoor activities. Great prices, AMAZING breakfasts, and overall peaceful and delightful ambiance.... More

6 of us signed up for a week long riding holiday at the Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm. Some of us were in single rooms, others in doubles. The rooms were very well furnished with super comfortable beds. Showers were great which is not always the case in older homes like this one. Top notch meals, gourmet, prepared by Luc. The breakfasts... More

I love this inn and I love that it also runs the Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm. I have been coming here almost every year and each time it is an amazing time. The Inn is beautiful and the rooms are excellent. Luc (the inn owner/manager) makes the most incredible breakfasts and is always so accommodating. We stay and relax here,... More

We found this place with the invaluable assistance of the two nice ladies at the Montpelier visitors centre. What a stroke of luck it turned out to be. Off a main(ish) route and 300 yards down a quite road we just knew it was what we had been looking for. Very isolated. This was backed-up as soon as we walked... More
