Overall, our experience here was outstanding. We will definitely come back. Todd & Val were great hosts. They provided clear instructions via email that helped us get there. The breakfast was great; we felt like eating from a house instead of a hotel. The hosts provided us with great local tips that made our experience better. Natural settings, excellent location! A walk down the street from European Artists B&B seemed as good as the smugglers notch. Mountain views from the window were excellent.

My family and I had a great stay at European Artists B&B. We were fortunate enough to be there while fall colors were at their peak (Oct. 8-11), and the views were incredible. From the rooms, balcony, and lawn at the B&B, there are great views of Mount Mansfield (tallest VT mountain) and Camel's Hump (3rd tallest mountain). The B&B is relatively close to Burlington (35 minutes from airport, maybe 40 minutes to downtown), so we had a couple of our evening meals there. There's also a small town a few minutes away with a full-service grocery store. However, I really liked the fact the B&B was out in the country where it was very quiet and peaceful. The sky was dark enough at night to be able to see the stars clearly. As far as accommodations, the rooms were immaculate and well-appointed. Beds were comfortable and large bathrooms included with each bedroom. The three bedrooms shared a common living room up a stairs, which included the breakfast area (one large table could seat 6-8 and a smaller table for two) and plenty of other seating. Our hosts were wonderful, gracious and very helpful with plenty of knowledge of local trails, restaurants, and things to do. The breakfasts were excellent, something different each morning and plenty of choices. To the extent possible they used local foods, including eggs and greens from their own chickens and garden. Everything was made from scratch and delicious!

My wife and I were excited to return to the European Artists B&B, where we had stayed several years back when it was a different proprietor. We enjoyed our experience very much then and had planned to return, and were interested in what we would find for our August visit under new stewardship. We made plans to arrive after a long driving trip through Quebec on our way home. We arrived on a late Friday evening, dropped our things into our room, and found our way upstairs to the shared space to look for a refrigerator and the Wi-Fi password. We found fresh homemade tart, a tea station, and an open door to the porch overlooking Mansfield and Camel's Hump... and on that porch we stayed for two hours. The B&B is in a beautiful location and is nicely adorned. Todd and Val facilitated a lovely experience that went beyond the traditional B&B experience. The breakfast was multi-course, and it was neat to hear from T&V how they selected local ingredients or from vendors they enjoyed visiting (and then referred us to). We were hoping for a full-day hike on Mansfield and when it looked like incoming thunderstorms in the evening would be preventative, they directed us to a challenging and rewarding hike that kept us out of the worst of the weather. They have a opt-in dinner - you can let them know in advance if you're interested - 50ish per person - we came back to that on Saturday night. Todd whipped us up a cocktail with our dinner with some pine-inspired spirits he made, and we felt downright spoiled with the delicious food they brought to us in waves. We had a great conversation about respective travels, etc - just a fun night. The chickens were very fun as well. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next stay!

The host is really friendly and welcoming. The apartment is very clean and modern. The view on the mountains in the morning is terrific. I stayed with my Russian family, and we loved it. I will for sure come back to this B&B and the beautiful area of Vermont. Спасибо огромное за прекрасный опыт!

Todd and Val are wonderful hosts who have a gorgeous slice of Vermont to share with others. We felt really fortunate to find this beautiful spot to stay. It's an easy drive to Burlington and you're still nestled amongst the mountains for quick hikes during the day and mind-blowing stars at night. The food that Todd and Val prepared for us was delicious (all local or from their garden or hens--everything was outrageously fresh). We really enjoyed talking with Todd and Val during our stay--they were both extremely interesting people and helpful hosts, providing tips on places to visit (Val even drew up a map for us to get to a trailhead). They were always available if we needed anything and our room was comfortable and quiet (we had the place to ourselves during the weekend we stayed). We would consider going back with our kids--it'd be a fun place to explore from during the winter. Thank you again to Todd and Val for the satisfying stay at their home.
