I booked the Liftline lodge through Expedia primarily since they accept dogs. The room was awful. Rug was threadbare and ripped, mold on the bathroom ceiling, Window opening mechanism was broken and missing handle, window screens missing and door hardware was not secure. Please see photos attached. I would not recommend staying at ANY Stratton property - they do not... More

After reading reviews, we had low expectations for the Lifeline Lodge. Our goal was a place to stay after skiing all day at Stratton. It is a a two minute walk to the Black Bear Lodge to check in. Megan was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the lodge and entire complex. She made checking in an easy and pleasant experience.... More

When I found a hotel 100yds from the slopes in Stratton, I thought it must be too good to be true. It kind of was. Pros: Cheap. Rates rival what you would find on the side of the interstate. Close to slopes. (Easy walk to Tamarack lift in ski boots. Village/ticket window is doable, but long. Get tickets the day... More

I took my two teenage kids for a couple of days skiing. We didn't have reservations anywhere and this was the only room available- it was presidents week. The hotel is very musty and smells- difficult to get over. Floor in room creeks when walking on it and has very old carpeting. There is also no elevator. It really unfortunately... More

I'm guessing this hotel is run by the Blackbear Lodge next door. When we arrived, this is where we had to check in. The guy who did our check in was super nice and helpful. He answered all of our questions to the best of his knowledge. Entering the actual hotel room was like entering a dorm room in college.... More

The Liftline lodge is a definite throwback lodge as it has not been updated in quite sometime. It's cheap, so you definitely get what you pay for. The lodge has a very dorm-like feel and pets are allowed. The wall insulation is pretty poor and I was woken up early in the morning by guests walking around in the room... More

My friend and I stayed at the Liftline Lodge during their one nighter deal that honestly was one of the best finds EVER in Vermont. Yes, this hotel is very old and in need of a major gut renovation. I suppose if we were there during high peak ski season with a ton of people partying I might have a... More

Hotel is very old and rundown but I was just there to sleep and not to spend a lot of money. Perfect! No front desk, no internet, missing doors on dresser in our room. Dorm like setting! It is very close to the mountain and all the stores.

Over the years I have stayed at the LiftLine Lodge many times. If your a picky person, then go spend a lot more money and stay somewhere else either on or off the mountain. I go to Stratton to ski and have fun, and have someplace to relax and rest my head. Ive never had any problems at the LIFTLINE... More

we stayed over New Year's. It was the only place available. Stay here if it is your only choice. There were a bunch of younger people with dogs staying here. They hung out in a lounge area with their dogs. One of the dogs barked all night. I was told this place is going to be torn down and rebuilt... More
