We have been skiing and vacationing in the Stratton Mountain area for years, but had not gotten up to the resort last year. We visited recently for Labor Day weekend. Typically we have gone on this weekend to take advantage of the tent sales, but this time the weather was so beautiful that we only briefly "shopped" and then spent... More

It is summer but i can still feel the winter magic hanging in the atmosphere. I stayed in the long lodge area. Great views wonderful weather and good people. This place will be a must on my winter vacation schedule this season. The rooms were simple and clean. The food at the restaurants in the village were good.

So convenient to the slopes, and an authentic lodge feel to our condo. Everything you need and want is there, even if you want to pick up some new equipment. Food choices were good and lots to see when not skiing!

Nice condo for our Memorial Day stay. Pros: More than adequate space. Recently renovated. Easy walk to restaurants. WiFi Cons: View of parking lot. Overwhelming smell of fireplace. No air conditioning (hit 90° this weekend). TV in every bedroom. Conclusion: don't think we'd stay in this unit again in late spring or summer due to lack of A/C. Would certainly... More

What a great location! Very nice resort hotel that is about as close to ski on ski off as you'll find anywhere. They offer rooms with nice views. We found the room roomy enough, clean, and no noise complaints. The staff was both friendly and helpful. When it comes to natural snow this has been a tough year for New... More

its a skiers paradise. snowboarders heaven. a foodie lovenest. the lift lines move quick and the terrain keeps going. cannot wait to go back next season. its only a short 4 hour drive from new york city, and the resort is truly ski on and off. the lodges feature real southern bbq and other tasty choices!

We just got back from a week at Stratton. First of all, the mountain is big and beautiful, providing almost 100 trails, with something for all ages and levels. Our 5 year old son skied for the first time ever and attended the little cub ski school. The school and its instructors are AMAZING. They took such good care of... More

During a season in which Mother Nature has been particularly cruel to skiers, Stratton has managed to salvage a dismal situation. Stratton makes snow whenever possible and grooms trails every night. Although Stratton is not immune from thin snow cover and patches of ice, the number of open trails and the manageable condition is probably unsurpassed in the East. We... More

Can't believe how $ focused customer service is. If you need real customer service you'll get a nice smile and zero help. Today, with the frozen ice and with nearly every lift broken down , they'd rather have us risk life and limb than give credit to ski another day. My father has skied for 50 years. He's 73, but... I am a mom who takes teenagers skiing. We are a few hours away, so we do day trips.I sit in the lodge and read a book while the kids are on the mountain. I have taken teens to Stratton on two occasions. Once was fantastic because it was on a day that they did not have school, but it... More
