We came here for our anniversary weekend to ski at Mt. Stowe. When we check in the hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade. In the upgraded room we had a jacuzzi and a fireplace. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was also fantastic. The inn is located in the middle of Stowe. It's about a 15 minute drive to the mountain. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed at the Inn 2 weekends in a row. One time in a townhouse with family and the second as a couple in the Sterling Apt. Each time was a great experience. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. I could possibly live here (LOL). The pool and hot tub are expertly tucked behind the Inn and well landscaped and there's a pool BAR!! or just call the restaurant and have drinks delivered. ALL of the staff are extremely kind, polite and helpful. It has been awhile since I have enjoyed a stay so much.

My husband and I visited the Inn (along with our adult son) from Dec 31st to Jan 3rd. We had two rooms in the Mansfield House. The rooms were beautiful. Each one had a king size bed, whirlpool bath, two lovely winged chairs right by a fireplace; a separate sitting room with a couch, desk , large closet, coffee maker. The bathroom was large with a glass shower, vanity to put on makeup. The place really had the feel like you were in someone’s home. We ate breakfast at their restaurant every day and it was just wonderful ...I would return in a heartbeat. If you are planning a visit to Stowe, don’t miss this place.

The location of this place is the best in Stowe for using the bike path and shopping. We requested a microwave, but they didn't have any available even though we were there during a non-peak period. Otherwise, the rooms were great and there is a really nice sitting area that is available for guests. The place is quiet and we felt really safe in the downtown area,

We haven't traveled to any hotels with my 3 small kids (age 1, 4, and 6) since covid, but we ventured to the Green Mountain Inn this past weekend to make an attempt at a little vacation. It was amazing. The outdoor heated pool was a hit with all 3 even though it was 50 degrees. They loved the fire pit and s'mores. Outdoor check-in was simple and fast. We got a family meal from the whip for dinner for take-out that was yummy. We did some of the suggested hikes on the print-out that we got at check-in which were so lovely. We did a take-out breakfast from the place next door and that was perfect too. My husband and I thought the Inn had done a great job implementing some COVID related changes to keep things safe. We stayed in the Mansfield House, which did require all of us to walk down a shared hall to get to the room, but we never really saw anyone else, so that was fine. We all loved it and want to go back.

Thank you for choosing Green Mountain Inn for your much-needed time away with your family. We loved that you created such fun memories here for the kids. Smores by the fit pit is always a hit! We can't thank you enough for taking the time to recognize our extra efforts to ensure everyone's safety. I'll be sure to share this with the team.
