I spent a night here with some girlfriends and our children. We live in the Burlington area but felt we were away with all Stowe has to offer. Even in the off-season, the town is gorgeous. We went to the sweet little shops, did some thrifting, some sightseeing, and enjoyed the local cuisine. Our sons spent hours in the game room and came back with lots of bouncy ball prizes (so much so, that they didn't fit in our suitcase). The teens in our families spent the day enjoying the heated pool, outdoor hot tub, and the plethora of yard games. We were planning on spending some of our evening by the outdoor fire but wound up playing games in the main dining room. I can't say enough about the service. Honestly, I have never been more blown away. That is the reason they have made a new customer that looks forward to returning year after year.

We stayed at the Inn 2 weekends in a row. One time in a townhouse with family and the second as a couple in the Sterling Apt. Each time was a great experience. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. I could possibly live here (LOL). The pool and hot tub are expertly tucked behind the Inn and well landscaped and there's a pool BAR!! or just call the restaurant and have drinks delivered. ALL of the staff are extremely kind, polite and helpful. It has been awhile since I have enjoyed a stay so much.

My daughter and I came for a quick overnight to catch the last snowboard day of the season. We had stayed at the Inn previously in the summertime in the lift line apartment, which was huge and really nice! This time as it was just 2 of us we stayed in a king room in the main inn. We loved this too! Comfy bed facing the fireplace, bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub, and even though the inn was full we never heard a sound from other guests. Nice robes in the room which we wore to the outdoor jacuzzi and pool which are open all winter! A jacuzzi could’ve been a little warmer but was still nice to see in and watch the sunset. There is also an indoor jacuzzi and sauna we didn’t make it to that one. Staff are all friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the whip which was delicious! We love the Green Mountain in and will always stay there whenever we visit the Stowe!

The BEST customer service on all levels - even during the pandemic when all properties in Stowe were struggling with staffing shortages. Last weekend my steak in the tavern was grilled just to a medium rare as ordered and served on a warm plate - PERFECT. So many of their ingredients, including meat and fish, are local. I've stayed at the Green Mountain Inn at least 20 times. Every room we've stayed in has comfortable cotton linens, which is important to us, but the fireplace in our room on a winter evening reminds us why we are in Vermont. The amenities, including an outdoor fire pit, pleases all ages.

This is a very nice place, well located at the crossroads of 100 and 108 near to restaurants and shops in Stowe, and convenient to the slopes. Our room was small but had what we needed, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, but there was a disconnect between the reception and the staff executing the needs of the guests. We arrived on Valentines Day and I had arranged for a local florist to deliver flowers to the hotel before we arrived, which he did, but the hotel put them in someone else’s room, kind of destroying the romantic effect. There was no heat coming out of the element in the room. When we complained staff came and raised the heat level in the room but did nothing for the bathroom. Finally, two days later when the temperature was in the 40s a space heater was put in the bathroom. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay, there are many common rooms for guests to hang out in, tea and cookies at 4pm every day, and a fine restaurant on the premises

I wanted to love it. The food was tasty; the space has real character; the pools are unique/fun but the people were not warmer attentive at all. Food server was friendly ; reception was mixed bag ; impossible to get call down to reception answered for any request. They charged us inaccurately on bill. Maybe they are COVID-exhausted or just been doing this a long time . My 12 year old never has never suggested this previously but when we left she said : do you think they were grouch because we are not White? I have no idea but wish it had been better service.

I really enjoyed a 1 night stay at Green Mountain Inn and wish I could have stayed longer! From the first moment I walked in, Rye was there to help make sure I had everything I needed always with a smile on their face and a helpful suggestion of where to eat or what to do. Beyond Rye, everyone I met in the staff was really fantastic. The rooms were slightly dated, but very comfortable and had mountain style. Room service from the hotel restaurant was good (real steak knives should be sent with steak), but breakfast downstairs was better. I also loved the 4-5PM cookie and tea happy hour. Particularly nice for skiers is the gym with showers (available even after check out) sauna (bring a bathing suit) and hot tub (which I didn't get a chance to try).

We returned to the Green Mountain Inn for another special stay in Stowe at this conveniently located, cozy inn. There are many things to enjoy here--the staff is courteous, the afternoon tea features delicious cookies, and the restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty entrees. The price is reasonable for this high tourist area. Unfortunately, one of the inn highlights, the outdoor pool, was nonfunctioning during our entire four night stay. Although I like the quirkiness and historic decor of this inn, after four nights I started to find our classic room size a bit cramped. Additionally, there is really no place to eat lunch locally unless one has a car. (The car was being used to transport the skier in the family to the mountain!) Yes, we would definitely return, but perhaps for a shorter stay, or in a larger room. Overall this inn is always a solid choice in central Stowe, and guarantees a pleasant and relaxing experience.

Beautiful, cozy place, especially during Christmas when the whole place looks like a picture postcard. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We had a 3 day Christmas package which included some nice extras, including a very lovely breakfast daily and Christmas dinner. We've been to places that included meals but gave you a restricted menu to choose from. Not here, we could order anything (alcohol drinks we paid for and expected to). The breakfast room is lovely with pretty decor and a fireplace. Our room had a fireplace which was very nice to have, a comfy king size 4 poster bed and a roomy bathroom. There was a knock on the door and two staff members handed us a hand wrapped Christmas gift with a card, which turned out to be a beautiful, hard cover photo book about Stowe. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

I love this inn and everything about it. The folks who work here are fantastic; the food is great; and our room was impeccable. We stayed in a great little and well-priced room that had every amenity and looked like it had been finished a week before. Breakfasts were awesome and the Whip—the Inn’s public restaurant—was as busy as the food was delicious. Treat yourself!
