We arrived Saturday night and followed the directions for the check in. We did have to have our Covid tests and signed certification to stay since we were from NY. The manager was helpful in gettin these documents in order and to her. The unit was basically pleasant. Not the newest of furnture, but it was comfortable and adequate. The beds were good, which is important. The room was basically cleaned. The view of the woods was beautiful. We had an issue with the internet being out because of a storm and also the light by the door was out. The manager responded to each issue within 24 hours. We had a unit that was at the top of the buildings. 40 steps up. Tougher check in but not so bad going down. This place is close to town, the slope and the nature park. I would defintely stay here again.

We were on the first floor but at this resort that is deceiving. We had to walk down 56 steps to our unit since you enter on the third floor at street level. It was very quiet in our unit which was great. We were only about 10 minutes from the ski slope so very convenient. The unit is a little dated. The curtains were worn and you could see through them. The shuttle stop is a bit of a walk from the resort. The ease of the contactless check in and info provided prior to our arrival was great.

We recently stayed at this property for several nights and would never return nor recommend it to anybody. There was an easy contactless check in procedure but thats where it ended. During COVID one would expect the property and room to be immaculate. Our experience was the exact opposite. To start, we arrived on a Saturday to no close parking with a snow, ice covered path and staircase leading to the unit. One of our family members was elderly and luckily didn't slip down the stairs. The unit itself had a disgusting carpet with candy wrappers and visible dirt. Cobwebs were in the room along with huge dustballs hanging off of the wire leading to the gas fireplace which also didn't work. The main lamp had a blown light bulb and another outlet wasn't working which appeared fried. The closet had no hangers, so all of our winter outer wear couldn't be hung. There were no extra pillows/sheets supplied for the pullout couch. Additionally, one of the toilets didn't flush. Upon inspection, the plunger assembly had a broken zip tie not allowing the toilet to flush. We literally had to leave the cover off of the bowl assembly and flush it by manually lifting the plunger by hand. The front desk was called multiple times regarding these issues with no answer. It appeared that no staff was present on the weekend. our phone call was returned on Monday, when we were checking out. This property is an absolute embarrassment and should not be renting out units during normal times but certainly not during COVID !

The RCI available units are extremely dated which is common in units that were bought in the 1980s. The amenities are cheap and furniture is old and uncomfortable. The unit we stayed in had a spectacular view and the location is excellent for Stowe!
