Check-in was a bit of an issue - not sure if they were short-staffed, but there was a person at the desk RIGHT UP UNTIL check-in time, then he disappeared. I asked about checking in about 5 minutes before the posted check-in time, and was told our room wasn't ready. Then he disappeared and a room full of us waited for nearly half an hour for someone else to come in and check us all in. Other than that glitch, the stay was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the room was a nice size and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to so many things. I believe the check-in issue was probably a one-time glitch, and I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel's Favorite
Room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Had fresh cookies, apples, tea and coffee in lobby (while they last) and the staff was very friendly. Just a basic room, but was clean and had what we needed. Was also in a great location if you want to ski, walk trails, etc. Really enjoyed staying here.

A nice, but not fancy place. We had an efficiency unit on the second floor of one of the buildings. It was very quiet. If I had a complaint it was the noisiness of the heating unit. Also I would say that the complex is quite spread out and can be confusing.

A very good motel in excellent location in Stowe, VT on Route 108 on way to Mansfield Mountain. My room was of a OK size like the bathroom. Very clean. The bed very comfortable. There was mini-fridge, but no microwave in my room. Wifi is fast with speed around 25 mbs. The motel is not far from shops, restaurant and cafes. It has even Farmer Market on Sunday adjacent to its buildings. There is no restaurant or breakfast but you can swim in swimming pool. All buildings are two floors high with no elevators. Parking is is easy and typically you can park in front of your room. The office staff is very friendly. There was no room service when I stayed there for 3 nights. If you are looking for practicality and not luxury, it is a good choice for Stowe visitors.

We stayed at this lovely property recently and we’re delighted. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. We arrived later in the evening and had a little trouble finding the correct entrance, but otherwise our stay was delightful. We used the bikes to just take a nice ride. Highly recommend!

Our room was very small with only one electrical outlet to use. When we arrived our window was open and when we went to close it for the evening it wouldn’t close. Being on the ground floor we would have liked to have closed it for security. Air conditioner very noisy. We had a refrigerator but couldn’t use the freezer part as it badly needed defrosting. Lack of attention to the room. Way overpriced for what we got

We are Southern Vermont residents that have visited the Stowe region 6 times in the last 25 years. Our state has a lot to offer and we take frequent overnight weekend road trips throughout the state. Over those years four times we have chosen the Stowe Motel as our base point for a weekend getaway. This place has never let us down. It's clean, affordable, family oriented for those traveling with children, and is centrally located for travel throughout the region. This time we selected the quarters with the small kitchen, it was exactly what we wanted to avoid having to go out for breakfast. Our room was a corner unit on the second level facing the mountain offering an outstanding view. We stayed for two nights. The Stowe Motel has been operating for a long time and the place does show a bit of usage from the outside at this point but with that said it is very, very well maintained. The inside was spotless with plenty of room and the bath had recently been renovated on a first rate scale. Everything worked perfectly with the exception of one window with a broken crank. No problem with that so far as I'm concerned, so what. In conclusion, we feel that the Stowe Motel has the most to offer on a dollar for dollar basis in the region, you will not go wrong! Would we use them again? 100% yes.

Nothing fancy rooms but clean and everything working including wifi. Put us right in the middle of Stowe in near peak fall foliage. Complimentary bikes for riding on the nearby Creekside trail were a nice way to end our stay. A fun collection of classic movie DVDs at the front desk. The host and Booking.com helped me get a cancellation of an inadvertent double-booking via Booking.com. It took some work but everyone stuck with it.

You need to remember that this is a motel- it looks like one, it smells like one, and the people around you- they are motel people. As we stayed in September, things closed early and it was dark early, so we got to spend a lot of time in the room in the evening. The motel's staff were nice and they offer free DVDs to watch, but I have to be honest- if I knew that I would spend so much time in the room- I would choose a nicer place. For a motel though- it is clean, has nice staff, and is at a great location.
