The hotel is nice & budget friendly. A little bit out but if you have a car, it is convenient. They are the only hotel on our trip that still had a hot breakfast. They also have a laundry roof so you can wash clothes. The staff is nice & helpful. Not at 5 star but very good.

We loved our stay here earlier this month. Our family room was spacious, clean and comfortable and my children were obsessed with the bunk bed. Breakfast was tasty and the grab and go felt very safe during COVID. There was plenty of hand sanitizer throughout the hotel. We all enjoyed the grassy area near the parking lot, my little ones had a blast running around and checking out the river out back. Great location near the mountain and dining. We can’t wait to go back!

The husband and wife who own of this lodge are so nice and take such obvious care and pride in their lodge. And they should! The rooms are terrific with very cozy swiss chalet feel. Our family was visiting during fall of coronavirus and they have taken great pains to think thru things like how to keep guests safe while providing a delicious breakfast and making checkin easy and fast. Extremely friendly and gracious hosts. Great location to explore fun town, apple cider mill, falls, ben and jerry’s, fall foliage. Could not recommend more highly : )

My son and I may regular trips to Stowe and we stay here. Tremendous value. Nice rooms. They put in new mattresses every other year. We stayed in room 18, New Mattress, pillows and sheets. Very comfortable, well heated. Because the place was not crowded I liked the room. However during peak periods I would ask for a room further away from the game room. Decor of rooms is a little dated but the owner told me they are concentrating on new beds/etc other than end tables etc. From a skier point of view the bed is critical. Bathroom: Small but acceptable. Could use a hook on back of door. Soaps/small shampoo. Towels are skimpy. But standard for this level hotel Shower: Good water pressure/good heat level Breakfast: FREE. Muffins, coffee, scrambled eggs and sausage every day we were there. Pancakes then French toast on the consecutive days. All juices, cereal, toast. Basic ski fare. If you want an omelette chef you will not have here. Staff: Attentive and smiling. Owners: On site and very helpful. We know Stowe and the area but I listened to them helping out a newbie to Stowe. Pool: Yes Jacuzzi: Yes We went midweek so it was very quiet. As noted in other reviews the Stowe bus stops very close to hotel The have an electric car charger there as well. We will be back....
