This was our first time staying at the Innsbruck Inn in Stowe. We were initially attracted to the budget friendly price of the rooms at a fairly busy time of the year and while the rooms are pretty basic they were comfortable and very clean. The property location is a real gem with outdoor seating on the banks of a river, outdoor hot tubs and a pool (we did not use those). What really made this special was the friendly staff and the over the top breakfast that was included in the price of the room. We will definitely go back!

Great little inn with a wonderful, friendly staff. The setting is beautiful. There is a stream in the back with chairs for you to enjoy it. The rooms are good sized so you don't feel crowded and there is an extra sink by the mini fridge and microwave. The robes are a nice touch! Breakfast each morning was delicious and everyone went out of their way to make sure you got plenty to eat. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

What a wonderful place in a beautiful setting. The inn has been updated, the rooms are very spacious. Nice large bathroom, espeially the shower, all completely updated. The original charm of the hotel is still there, which is part of what makes it so special. Excellent fresh, hot breakfast. Also a nice snack of Vermont cheese and crackers in the afternoon. Bikes and helmets are free to guests and you can jump right on the recreaction path and ride into the town of Stowe, a short 5 miles. All of the staff is very friendly and helpfull. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I know.

Amazing experience 😍 We finally booked for two nights instead of one because we fell in love with this place ! The location is easy to find, the building’s architectural design looks like medieval-Swiss-Germany and their rooms are comfy and cozy !
Also, there is free breakfast and also a Happy hour in the afternoon with cookies and local Vermont cheeses 😍🙏
Would do it again anytime !

What a beautiful property! It has a covered bridge built in 1964, access to the recreational path where you can walk or ride a bike and watch the horses as the riders take them through the woods ablaze in orange!! Once you get back from a walk, you can relax in one of the Adirondack chairs overlooking the creek and let the sound of the water soothe your mind. The friendly and warm staff at the hotel made our stay very special - Liotta, Eric, and all the others were truly amazing! Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed; from a fridge and microwave to a modern bathroom and toasty bathrobes, our stay was very enjoyable. The breakfast was hot and delicious and I truly enjoyed the authentic maple syrup provided for the French toast and pancakes. I cannot wait to go back to this charming hotel!

We were on a trip recently and had decided to be spontaneous and not plan where we would be traveling or staying each day. We stopped for the evening at the Innsbruck Inn and were delighted that they had a room available for the evening. We had a queen room on the first floor. It was clean and had a simple decor. The bed was comfortable and the amenities sufficient. We liked that there was an outside entrance to our room so we could park and go in and out to our car as needed without having to go through the inside of the building. The grounds are beautiful and offer a pool, volleyball courts, playground, picnic area, hot tubs, and places to sit and unwind along the river. The best thing for us was the free breakfast. The chef did an amazing job and we have paid $20 or more for breakfasts like this in other places. There were blueberry pancakes, regular pancakes, French toast, bacon sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, real maple syrup, pastries, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, a choice of juices, milk, coffee, and so much more that I’ve forgotten. The eggs and hot foods were made in small batches so even though it was a Buffett all were fresh. Breakfast was amazing! The only drawback that I can think of is that the breakfast/bar area may not be handicapped accessible, but there may have been an elevator that I just didn’t see. (We used the stairs). I would stay here again, but only gave it a 4 out of 5 as the walls are a bit thin and our neighbor ran his TV all night long. We also had the sound of a pump motor running all night. The motor didn’t bother me as much as the TV though. I realize this was not the fault of the owners or the hotel itself. The staff were all friendly and welcoming from checkin to checkout. Again, I would stay here if in the area.

We spent 2 nights in this Austrian style motel. The room was large and fully stocked. The bed was very comfortable. Our room had a large walk in shower which was a change from the typical shower/tub combo of most motels. I was expecting the typical continental breakfast and was greatly surprised to find a fully cooked breakfast! The cook was very personable and made sure we were satisfied. I would come back here just for the breakfast. Very convenient to all the activities in Stowe.

This inn has good service, historical vibe and great proximity to the mountain. The staff is warm and friendly, the breakfast is very good and fresh. Rooms are sparse yet spacious. The mini fridge and microwave are really useful! This place would be perfect if there was a washer dryer for guest use - even if we need to buy tokens or pay for use.

We had booked this Inn for the peak of fall color season. We had flights, car and hotels all booked for our trip from central Florida. Spirit Airlines, Alamo Car Rental and the three other hotels we booked ALL gave us refunds because of the travel advisory for October 10th, but not INNSBRUCK INN. They charged us a $195 cancellation fee without an option to change the booking, which is disgraceful considering they will easily rent the room out again. Needless to say when we do visit Stowe we will not be using them.

I first want to say that I can completely understand there being frustration in a stressful situation as you described. Having to reach out to all of those different companies and try to make arrangements when worrying about the approaching storm must be stressful. With that being said I think there was some miscommunication somewhere when reaching out to us about this situation. We had a few guests in a similar situation this past week due to the hurricanes in Florida and all of them were offered to use their initial deposit as a credit towards a future stay within the next few months. I apologize if this option was not stated clearly when in communications with us. This would have meant for your reservation it seems the $195 could have been placed as a credit for a future stay within the next few months. I sincerely apologize for this misunderstanding and I would be more than happy to speak with you about clearing this up and getting you a credit for a future stay with your deposit. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience so that we can make it right for you.

We were traveling back from Burlington, VT to Maine where we live when the weather took an unexpected turn and the roads were completely icy and it was a white out. It was around 9:30 pm and we decided to park it for the night and resume our journey in the morning. We were parked in a grocery store lot and tried Googling nearby lodging with vacancies. The Innsbruck Inn at Stowe was one of the options that came up. The price was extremely reasonable—especially for an unexpected stay. We called to confirm the vacancy and the man working the front desk was extremely sympathetic, friendly, and welcoming. He and another gentleman on shift were extremely friendly when we got there. They gave us local take out recommendations and were cracking jokes with us. The room was cutely decorated and impeccably clean. The shower and bathroom as a whole was updated, modern, and very clean!!! The shower was bright white so you’d see any areas that weren’t perfect; there wasn’t any! There were two robes that were just the perfect comfort to us two weary travelers who weren’t prepared for an overnight stay and definitely needed the comfort. In the morning, the staff at the cafe were all extremely nice and considerate! We chatted with one of the chefs and we were all cracking jokes. The buffet of hot breakfast was such a welcome treat. We were happy for any breakfast but it was better than just continental! It featured home fries, bacon and sausage, eggs, blueberry pancakes, and french toast! There was a selection of bagels and breads and plenty of coffee and juice! The cafe was a very cute themed area that doubles as a bar! We checked out early because we still had a 3 hour trek ahead of us and other things to do for the day, but we will certainly be coming back. We’ve already told our friends and family about what a lucky break we caught and how the staff was just INCREDIBLE! We’ve stayed in places all over New England and the country and this type of hospitality is rare. Every member of staff truly cared for the guests and went above and beyond!
10/10 recommendation if you’re looking for cozy lodgings, exceptional hospitality, and good comfort food!!
