Just wanted to revisit the location of our honeymoon 30 years ago and get away from hectic schedules. Stowe, of course, is a beautiful place but the Brass Lantern Inn was the icing on the cake! Such a relaxing B & B. Mary Ann and...More
I had a wonderful stay with MaryAnne and George at the Brass Lantern Inn this past weekend. It did not feel like we were staying at a large impersonal place but rather, felt like we were staying WITH the hosts of the Inn, MaryAnne and...More

It was our pleasure to host you and to serve you our favorite (and we think the favorite of many of our guests) the Quiche Brass Lantern. You are very kind to provide these words of recommendation on behalf of our dream to be here...More
We were in Stowe for the first time and had visions of staying at a snowy, cozy country inn. The snow was a bit of a problem, as Stowe received an inch of rain prior to and during our first evening. But the coziness and...More
From the moment we arrived it felt like home away from home. Relaxing in front of the fire with tea and homemade cookies, heading for a wonderful restaurant recommend by owners, skiing the next day with lift tickets aquired by the proprietors, a day on...More

Thank you Craig and Kathy for your stay and just as importantly, for taking the time to write this very kind review. Our business model is fairly straightforward, we feel that if our guests are enjoying their stay, we will continue to enjoy this adventure...More

Joy, sorry for the delayed reply. We have just found this new way of connecting with our guests outside of our traditional business e-mail address. We are very close to several wonderful restaurants, however, in the winter the snowbanks along the sides of the road, along with the early evening sunset creates some challenges. We have several reliable taxi companies in town that will be available to shuttle you in case you would rather not drive. We just saw your reservation come through for a stay here during our fabulous Christmas Season. Thank you for your interest and most importantly for your confirmed plans to stay with us!
