Edson Hill Manor is set atop a hill and has some of the best views in Stowe. Overpriced due to the fact that it needs a lot of revamping and isn't very welcoming upon walking in. I decided to not stay here after visiting the...More
The entry alley is in dismal condition. The first night they put us in room 12, which didn’t have heat or hot water. Then switched to a different room the next day which was ok. Would avoid room 12 since it’s priced similarly to the...More
This boutique hotel is very stylish and a lot of care love and attention has been put to furnish it in a charming manner . The rooms are all different , ours had a comfortable bed and simulated gas open fire place and a large...More
The grounds are amazing, the rooms just like the pictures, but there were somer things missing that made our experience incomplete.

We have visited the hotel multiple times with young children. The layouts of many of the rooms with daybeds or second sleeping areas make them especially attractive to families with young children, and the staff is very accommodating.
It is not Disney World or Great Wolf. The common areas, including the downstairs Tavern, the restaurant, and the living room are quiet and sophisticated. If your children are well behaved, the staff will go out of their way to make them feel at home and accommodate their needs. But, it is not an environment that will be forgiving of or pleasant for children that do not know how to behave appropriately or entertain themselves in adult settings.
