We camped here for 3 nights with our 23 ft trailer. We had full hook ups, and a beautiful campsite. The place is spotless, they pick up trash every morning, the general store has AWESOME hoagies and a decent beer/wine selection, and the staff is friendly. It is a little pricier than we typically spend on our trips, and, as... More

Our first night was just overnight on June 27, 2016. A family next to us said too bad we won't be there for July 2 as the campground has a terrific display. I tell you this because at the last minute we needed a place for July 2 and we hadn't made a reservation at Apple Island for that day... More

This is a large, expansive park with hard-pack lots that can accommodate any size rig. Because of the numerous hardwood shade trees, choosing the right lot is important if you have a satellite dish but the staff will help you. The amenities are top notch with a on-campus golf course, heated swimming pool, and hot tub. The park also has... More

We are on a 40 day RV trip through New England. This place fit the bill for visiting Burlington and the islands. We spent one day at the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, ate at The Farmhouse restaurant which has a huge beer selection, and took a boat tour on the Northern Lights boat and took a tour of the... The view of lake Champlain and the green Mountain range from the site was fantastic. Cleanest bathroom I've ever seen at a campsite. Heated pool and Landry were a strong plus. Will definitely look to stay here again.

If you plan on camping there do not book early in hopes to getting close to a bathroom because walking is difficult. Our site was given away to people with young children so they could be close to the playground. The sad thing is they never had any young children when they arrived. But on a good note the campground... More

We reserved for 3 nights at the Apple Island resort of South Hero, VT. This place has a fabulous location in the middle of lake Champlain, at the very end of the Champlain Islands. About 30 minutes north of Burlington, this is perfect place to camp and visit. The campground entrance is a brand new section with spotless restrooms/showers, a... More

From the moment we checked in until we left the service was outstanding. The staff are helpful and friendly. We were escorted to a lovely pull thru site. The site was large with 2 shade trees. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The washrooms are also very nice. There are alot of seasonal sited but they are exceptionally... More

Two friends and I traveled from southern Pennsylvania to Vermont for an impromptu road trip over the weekend, and in a last minute effort to snag a campsite somewhere, the staff at Apple Island Resort were more than helpful. We stayed on a tent site with no hookups at the top of a small hill, secluded from other campers for... More

The place is spacious and spotless with a great location looking onto the lake. A super swimming pool and well stocked store. Staff really friendly and helpful. But staying there as a holiday maker and camper is slightly funny. The resort has very many residents who are staying the whole season and so it feels less like a camp site... More
