How many ways can I say, "Don't stay here!" The lack of common courtesy, respect, and friendliness was evident when dealing with check-in...maid staff...and other staff in the building. My room was across from the elevator and maids workroom and next to the electric main on the 4rth floor. The maids were loud, left their large orange bin in front of my door so I could not get out...went up and down the elevator, so heard dinging all morning and afternoon into the evening. The electric main had a low hum that reverberated through the wall. And if that were not enough...the room was less than expected for a Comfort Inn/Suites. This hotel was very disappointing. Our room was practically in the lobby… it was very noisy all night long while the receptionists talked to each other, we tried the tv just to drown out the lobby noise and the tv didn’t work, and the wifi was terrible.
Parking in front during check-in was a little tricky with little room to maneuver, but plenty of parking in back. Desk staff was pleasant, check-in went smoothly. Beds were comfortable, rooms had a Keurig coffee maker. A fairly uneventful stay--which is good! Trip Advisor is asking for comments about the hotel's environmentally friendly practices in a separate field from the review, but allows only 300 characters, so I'll include all my comments here: Our room had a recycling bin, but it was placed in the room so that, for most of our 2-day stay, we didn't notice it was for recycling. The plastic liner hid its color and made it look like another trash basket. The label on the side indicating what could be recycled was facing the wall. If you put the recycling bin and the trash basket right next to each other (rather than one on either side of the desk), it would be more obvious that they they had different purposes. And if the label were facing out, we could see what to recycle.…
Very nice, well maintained hotel close to shopping, restaurants and highway. Great breakfast in morning, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, rolls etc. Excellent staff at front desk. Rooms are large and clean. For the price, a real bargain.
We stopped here for the night before we took the ferry to New York. This hotel is very nice but a little hard to find. It can be seen from the interstate but seemed confusing once we got to the bottom of the ramp. We did enjoy our stay in a corner suite. Thank you.
