This place is a hidden gem. After a group weekend long stay at The Huntington House Inn I can guarantee that I will return. It's gives "Gilmore Girl" vibes through out the Inn as well as the surrounding town. The host was a delight, very accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. The restaurant/bar attached to the Inn is such a plus. Can't say enough about how incredible our meals were. Such a variety of options on the menu and each plate came out with a meal to fill you up! The Doc's bar had karaoke which was a hit with our crew. Everyone down to the bartenders were friendly as could be. Hoping to make a trip back come summertime. Thanks again for a rememberable stay

Never saw a person at the desk or working there the entire 3 days we were there - except the tavern waitress who checked us in. Room wasn't horrible but very old and worn, dinged furniture, thread-worn rugs and tattered chairs. Wifi never worked for the 3 days. Very basic accomodations and amenities. For the price I paid - I expected more!!!

Family of 4 with dog stayed in “top of the park”. 2br, 2 full baths, large living area, well equipped kitchen at fireplace. The space is beautiful - wide plank floor, gorgeous oversized stove and quiet. Equal distance from Sugarbush and Killington. Not great cell service, but that turned out to be a plus. Will stay here again on future trips.

I will start by saying these are trying times and I would certainly not give a bad review if it didn’t warrant it, and do feel sorry for these owners of this Inn. It seems as though they are in a little in over their heads. Arrived early, told to come back at 4pm fine. Arrived at 5pm and the front desk was crowed with people checking in and she (owner) was barking out to each guest which room they had how to get there and was sorry but she had someone just quit 20 minutes beforehand and she had to hurry over to the Tavern to help with dinner service. We were in room 6 third floor, not recommended for older people as there is no elevator, and the stairs are steep. The room was clean, with a large bathroom area, but can use some work as the wallpaper is tearing and shower door does not close properly. The room was very warm and mentioned it when we got to the Tavern and she said she would take care of it later. The Tavern was where it goes down hill even more. I really began to feel sorry for this woman, running back and forth bringing drinks and food as everyone sat outside. Our drinks came out but never received eating utensils. Salads brought out no eating utensils, entrees brought out no utensils, and she was running around to each area trying to do every little thing herself, I wanted to go help her! One of us wanted salt and got up and went inside to get it. We sat down at 5:30pm and I believe it was about 7:45 when we finished. To say the service was slow is laughable. Our food was good, flatbread pizza, excellent. 2 prime ribs were so so, I heard, and very thinly sliced. Which was odd. When we got back to the room, she ran upstairs to turn the switch on for the air conditioning, and ran back down the stairs. Also, as in other reviews, the Inn is completely dark with no one around. The tables in the restaurant area downstairs was set up with place settings for a wedding and closed to public and this was aThursday night. We were told to leave our keys in the room when we leave. The cafe across the street was nice with good lunch and breakfast next morning. In conclusion, I was thinking I was going to stay at a very cozy and welcoming Inn, but got a overworked Inn owner with no help in sight. I can not recommend.

We had room 4 . We wanted to like the place, but really did not enjoy our stay. On the plus side: The room is of a generous size, also the bathroom, both very clean. The inn sits right at the beautiful town green. The bad: plastic flowers and shag carpeting at the reception, also plastic flowers on the terrace overlooking the parking lot. The entire inn smells of potpourri, the horrible chemical kind, The self-help coffee maker upstairs has some unknown cheap brand of capsules along with cheap brand of creamers, the toiletries in the bathroom are from China. The worst for us were the sheets: 100% polyester, heavily perfumed. I felt like having my head stuck in a box of dryer sheets all night. It was also quite hot in the room, the window did not open sufficiently , no screen in the window of the bathroom. The internet worked for about 30 seconds in the evening, then not at all, and just barely in the morning. No breakfast, but we knew this, however, if you stay on a Monday night, be aware that there is no breakfast anywhere in town, either. Overall, staying at this inn felt more like staying at a motel. I realize we live in difficult times now, but still you would expect more from an inn.

Very happy with my stay here. Room was very nicely appointed and super clean. The shower was like a tropical deluge! Inn itself is very comfortable, and in a great location. The staff are super nice and accommodating. Good restaurant too!

We stayed overnight in the Park Suite, and our 6 y/o daughter said this was fanciest place she ever stayed. We were impressed by the room not because it was fancy but because it was clean, well appointed and cozy. It would be a fantastic apartment if you lived in town because it has everything in the room, including laundry. The location is central to nearby excellent places for food, including the inn itself.

We absolutely loved The Huntington House Inn- it is beautiful, well kept, updated, clean, with all the VT charm you are looking for in your getaway. We couldn't have been happier. We visited to check the place out and get to know the area more for our wedding next year and were so happy we did! The hosts are spectacular and we can't wait to come back!

Had an incredible stay at Huntington House this weekend!!! My boyfriend took me up to go snowboarding for my birthday weekend and I am just SO GLAD that we stayed here. It was a super easy, 25min drive to Killington and so nice to get away from all that hustle and bustle when we were done for the day. Coming back to Huntington House after a long day on the slopes was SO peaceful and cozy. The bed was sooo comfortable and the room spacious with an en suite. They have dinner service inside of the Inn and Doc’s Tavern is on site as well. The food was PHENOMENAL! Chef Vin is a wizard in the kitchen. I seriously cannot say enough great things about our stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

The room in the old inn was fine; comfortable bed, very clean. The hand-written note on the shower stall ("please don't take any baths") turned out to be irrelevant. But checking in...we arrived at 3:15, having decided to save the hosts the trouble of waiting for our late arrival that night. Check-in time was 4:00, and we would have to pay $10 to check in 45 minutes early. Being assured someone would be there after 10, we continued on, returning at 10:09. No one at the desk. We found help in the bar. On checking out, no one available, so we just left. Attention to details makes a difference, folks.
