We got stranded in Rochester when our car broke down this summer and we could not have asked for a better place to be stuck. We were able to eat dinner at the pub, book a room at the last minute, enjoy a free concert on the lawn, get an incredibly comfortable night's sleep and over indulge on one of... More

Just passing through one night with our daughter and we took the two bedroom suite. I appreciated the fact that they allowed us to stay just one night during the busy summer period. Very spacious accommodations with a nice porch, sitting room and kitchen. Reasonably priced for what you got. Nice people.

My husband and I arrived in Rochester late in the day. We were hot and tired and had no idea where to stay. We came upon the Huntington House Inn. Luckily, they had a queen room available. The Inn is historic and our room was large, very clean, and charming. As is typical of an older venue, the floors sloped,... More

we were visiting our daughter, who is working in the area; Suite 1 was perfect because it had two bedrooms with en suite baths, a large sitting area, an enormous porch overlooking the green, and - if you were staying longer, this might be of interest - a full kitchen with a La Cornue range. Anyway, beds were super comfy... More

We first visited Huntington House Inn last August, so there was no question when we needed to be in the area again where to stay! Again we enjoyed the warm welcome, the great room, the wonderful food. Bobby and Scott were beyond accommodating. Our cousin lives very close by, so came to spend time with us while we ate and... Would highly recommend this quaint Inn for over night stay or meals if you are in the area. The staff made us feel like family during my stay. I am from Canada and would make a trip out there just to have a vacation. Our dog would join us next time since it is a pet friendly place. Well done....thanks... More

The Huntington House Inn is one of the best kept secrets and must visit while in Rochester, VT. It is located on the Village Square in this quaint town. The food choices are many and all the dishes are prepared to perfection. Over the years, we've had all the beef and fish dishes they offer. The atmosphere is very nice... More

We stayed only one night during a ten-day fall trip, but we would've happily stayed longer. The village of Rochester may not be as appealing to the traveler as Woodstock, Weston, or Grafton, but each of these picturesque towns is an easy, pretty drive from the Inn. Bobby, one of the owners, greeted us warmly after our long day on... More

Four Brits touring around New England and we stayed here for one night after a long day on the road. The hotel and restaurant has a classy and genteel feel to it. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and spotless. At the rear is an atmospheric little bar selling really tasty local beers, and we were obliged to have one,... More

Great decor and nicely designed, well managed by owners, good food, ample suites, excellent location within the town, nice bar. Simply a great stay on a road trip with no set plans or reservations. This Inn was a great surprise along the way.
