We stayed here just as the foliage was coming to peak and the view from our verandah of the town green was beautiful. The room was huge with a fully equipped kitchen, with an impressive stove, would have tempted us to make a meal had we been able to stay longer. The beds were comfortable and the whole suite was...

Great selection of beer on draft. Cozy atmosphere on a windy, slightly off-season night. TVs, pool, music. Tasty apps -- wings, fried cheese curds with maple syrup mustard(!), fried pickles. Warm and tasty NE seafood soup. Warm and friendly service. A great convenient find!

Huntington House was constructed in 1806, and was home to several generations of local doctors prior to being the current picture of a Vermont village inn. The rooms are very nice and include one of the best breakfasts we have had anywhere. The inn includes a very good and reasonably priced restaurant that is open most days. The barn behind...

My wife and I stayed here for a night while we were doing a road trip through Vermont. The staff/owners were friendly and welcoming, which is always good after a long day's driving. The room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed our meals. The buffet breakfast the next morning was equally as good....

The Huntington House sits at the top of what may be the most attractive town green in all of Vermont. It was originally a private residence, but a very large one. In some ways it has more of a hotel atmosphere than the typical B&B, but more like a B&B than the typical hotel. Rooms are very comfortable with newly...

If I could rate this place 3.5 I would. Our room was adequate but not wonderful for the price of $129 without taxes etc. on the other hand the breakfast was really great with scrambled eggs, hashed Browns and bacon. We ate at the restaurant and whilst the steak was cooked perfectly, the sauce was out of a packet and...

We got stranded in Rochester when our car broke down this summer and we could not have asked for a better place to be stuck. We were able to eat dinner at the pub, book a room at the last minute, enjoy a free concert on the lawn, get an incredibly comfortable night's sleep and over indulge on one of...

Just passing through one night with our daughter and we took the two bedroom suite. I appreciated the fact that they allowed us to stay just one night during the busy summer period. Very spacious accommodations with a nice porch, sitting room and kitchen. Reasonably priced for what you got. Nice people.

My husband and I arrived in Rochester late in the day. We were hot and tired and had no idea where to stay. We came upon the Huntington House Inn. Luckily, they had a queen room available. The Inn is historic and our room was large, very clean, and charming. As is typical of an older venue, the floors sloped,...

we were visiting our daughter, who is working in the area; Suite 1 was perfect because it had two bedrooms with en suite baths, a large sitting area, an enormous porch overlooking the green, and - if you were staying longer, this might be of interest - a full kitchen with a La Cornue range. Anyway, beds were super comfy...
