We stayed in the No.3 cabin. Comfortable, warm, extra heaters in the bedrooms. the Great Room is nice for games, coffee, and socializing. Hot tub is great. All covid restrictions adhered to but it doesn't feel like it. Nice trails, sledding. They even provide yak tracks for walking in the snow. Flash lights are provided.
We had an absolutely lovely time. Carol and Marty are incredibly thoughtful hosts and everything was perfect. The cabin was so cozy and warm and the land was beautiful. We enjoyed the views of the forest while reading in the nook by the fire! We went to Sugarbush one day and will try out the Snow Bowl next time. We loved the bathrobes and changing room by the hot tub - lots of great little touches like this made this a stand-out trip! We will return!
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I have Marty and Carol at Robert Frost Mountain Cabins to thank for that. The property is beautiful and the cabin even more so. Marty and Carol were extremely helpful by providing tips for trails based upon experience level, local stores, restaurants and everything in between. It’s a great middle point between Burlington and Killington (we ski’d one day). We cannot wait to return in the summer time!
We enjoyed 4 nights/5 days at the lovey, relaxing and cozy Robert Frost Mountain Cabins, in Cabin #6. We were fortunate to have loads of fluffy new snow blanket the area which made for great cross county skiing and delightful walks in the woods! Marty and Carol took care that every aspect of the cabin and our stay was perfect and peaceful. The beds are especially comfortable and the cabin was welcoming.
I couldn’t have more amazing things to say about our stay with Carol & Marty. The drive up to the property was absolutely breathtaking and once you arrived it was like you walked into a winter wonderland. Each cabin was so beautifully crafted by Marty himself using trees from the property, which adds such a special touch to the stay as it is. Marty also provided great recommendations for dining around town. The details and the hospitality were so far beyond anything you’d get at any hotel. From the coffee bar in the cabins, to the robes for the hot tub, to the homemade cinnamon twists dropped off on our doorstep the first morning there. I mean come on! The hot tub at sunset was pretty much heaven. Also, we brought our 95 lb dog and Carol even had a doggie bag with bowls and treats waiting for him. Are you kidding?! So thoughtful. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a perfect, COVID safe getaway. We felt so safe here the whole time. My only recommendation would be to book with them directly and not through Airbnb because you’ll save a ton on fees. We would’ve saved a few hundred dollars for the weekend had we booked directly but we didn’t know any better. Anyway, I could go on longer but moral of the story: book your trip here.…
