The tragedy is that we only had 2 nights at this incredible cabin! How I wish we could’ve spent a month or MORE here! We stayed in Cabin #1 Peak Perspective and it was AMAZING! The cabins are BEAUTIFUL and the owners have been attentive to each and every comfy beautiful detail possible! We SO loved it and it was especially nice to be able to look out and see that gorgeous meadow with the surrounding trees changing their gorgeous fall colors! Carol was a sweetheart to visit with and makes the most DELICIOUS Cinnamon Twists, and Marty was great to correspond with about details of booking! They make an awesome team! Wow! I can’t wait to return for at least a week if I can afford it! I absolutely LOVE it here! There are so many extras like chairs to sit out in, a hot tub under the stars, outdoor games, a community LOFT that has extras, even a chance to do laundry! I felt like family to them when here, they came and welcomed us! FANTASTIC, you MUST come!

I was looking for a location to unplug and rest from a busy life. Carol and Marty delivered a quality experience. The best part of my stay was spending my afternoons sitting in a swing facing the mountains with the sounds of nature as my music. I just wish I lived a little closer so I could revisit my cabin for a short weekend.

We loved our stay at the Robert Frost Cabins in the heart of the National Forest. The beautiful property is very well kept, as are the very comfortable, spacious and clean cabins. The location is great - only about 20 minutes from Middlebury on good country roads, but feeling very far from the busyness of Route 7. We were pleasantly surprised by how well-outfitted the kitchens were: mugs, glasses, plates & cutlery✅pots and pans✅bread knife✅corkscrew✅salt pepper sugar coffee half n half✅ But then we realized that a lot of care and thought has gone into ensuring guests enjoy their stay: the wheelbarrow provided to transport the logs for the cabin’s fire pit; the dog bowls and poop bags; the large towels for the hot tub; the smart TV. Marty is a friendly and engaging host who clearly has invested a lot of himself in the business. We look forward to returning!

Robert Frost cabins make the beauty of nature and the Green mountains accessible for families and couples and individuals who prefer to sleep in comfort without staying in a tent or AMC hut. Getting to places is definitely a bit more time consuming, but isn’t that part of the experience? My husband and I stayed here with our dog Skai for three nights, it was perfect in every way. Everything we could possibly think of was available! We needed nothing. Carol and Marty have EVERYTHING covered, from robes for the hot tub, to a very functional common room ,beautiful grounds, and immediate help when we required assistance with AC. Our cabin was immaculate and was extremely well provisioned, even for Skai. If you have the opportunity and are looking to totally escape the hustle and bustle~ STAY HERE! Carol and Marty will make it worth your time at their Robert Frost Cabins.

Cabins were clean, well stocked and cozy with plenty of space between cabins. If it isn’t in the cabin the loft has it. The loft has laundry, TV, books DVDs and hot tub and all sorts of small equipment. All in a beautiful location with mountains and woods all around. The hosts were wonderful and really wanted to ensure that we had a positive experience

My husband and I had a wonderful trip to the Robert Frost Mountain cabins. We spent 5 nights to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Everything was amazing, from the thoughtful welcome sign, delicious cinnamon twists, and restful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch and hot tub. Carol and Marty were wonderful hosts, checking in on us, as well as giving advice on hikes and places to eat. I would highly recommend a trip to their beautiful property!

Robert Frost Mountain Cabins are an ideal place to place yourself amongst the beauty of the Green Mountain state. Marty and Carol do an outstanding job to ensure that no detail is overlooked and that every guest has an enjoyable experience. The cabins are comfortable with all the modern amenities. We have stayed many times here and always look forward to our next visit to Ripton. You will not be disappointed in deciding to stay at RFMC….it is a magnificent location and feeling being nestled min the trees in VT!

It was a nice cabin with epic surroundings. Right outside our door we picked blueberries, rasberries and blackberries. Every night we made s'mores and had a fire. Trails were right outside the door and the trees kept you cool. Also, lake dunmore was only a 15 minute drive away and was perfect to cool off in and enjoy another amazing view. If you can, go eat at Maple Soul. Best meal ever.
