We loved everything (except not enough snow but they couldn’t do anything about it :) ) The cabin was beautiful, cosy and clean. We loved a hot tub and the views. The place is pet friendly which is very important for us.

We visited RFMC for a long weekend to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The cabins were plenty big enough for our family of 5, the grounds were stunning (even though we missed peak foliage!), and the owners were so welcoming and hospitable. We enjoyed visiting nearby Middlebury but we loved our cabin so much that we were perfectly content to spend the majority of our time there. They have a hot tub, a community area, bonfire pit, hammocks, a hiking trail that was fun even for our 2 year old. Our first morning there, they delivered a basket of warm cinnamon twists that were out of this world! Robert Frost Mountain Cabins is the perfect escape from this fast paced world we live in. No cell phone service but WiFi is available and they have a landline in the common area. A quaint little country store down the road has most of the staples you need. The cabins have a full kitchen so we were able to make most of our meals in the cabin which helps a ton when traveling with small children who are ALWAYS hungry. :) 10 out of 10 would recommend this place to anyone. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks again to Marty and Carol for such a beautiful retreat from the outside world!

Robert Frost Cabins was such a great getaway that was accessible to Middlebury. Personalized, local, family owned business that felt great to support. So many fun things to do or just sit and relax. Would love to go back.

This was our first stay at Robert Frost Mountain Cabins and it was everything that we hoped it would be. The cabins are extremely well appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. The reading nook was a great place for an evening read and a quick nap! Carol and Marty are amazing hosts and aim to please at every opportunity. The grounds are gorgeous and the Trillium Trail on the property is just such a beautiful peaceful walk(about 3/4 of a mile). We look so forward to our next opportunity to stay at the cabins.

This is a great place to go and decompress. If you just want to relax the cabins are very comfortable or if it is a nice day there are a number of places on the grounds to grab a book and relax. If like to hike you can take a small trail from the property or take a short ride to a number of local trails. Marty and Carol are always available to answer any questions you have and make any recommendations that will make your stay perfect. We truly enjoy our time there.
