In my humble opinion, The Parker House is simply the most special Inn in Vermont. Adam's hospitality is second to none. He is a magic man of music, drinks, outstanding food, with a wonderfully attentive and unassuming staff. The location is stunningly beautiful. The Inn is

Host, Adam, was very helpful with ideas of the local area and accommodating to our requests. Bed was comfortable and the view from out room excellent. Wine list very good and the breakfast tasty. Dinner was excellent but the portions almost too big for us. Duck the best I have

I will preface my comments by saying quite honestly, I am not a B & B person. The plan was with 2 couples, the guys play golf and the ladies have their run of the town. I was an invited guest, so I reserved my comments. Arrival, I look at a building that looks like the House of

Thank you so much for your review- We agree Adam is awesome- so I think we'll keep him! All of the information about our Historic Brick 1857 Victorian Mansion inn are on our website or pictured here on trip advisor. The rooms that were chosen are clearly stated on the website as our least expensive because they are on the third floor. Many enjoy the romance of the eaves and privacy but if you have ambulatory issues I can see that it would be a challenge to navigate. I remember clearly the risotto that was returned for reheating, I apologize- it wasn't wasn't clear to me that you wanted the meat back- I personally reheated your risotto adding extra shrimp for your trouble waiting and put it in a smaller bowl to make sure it was piping hot on it's return to you. As to the activities - there are too many to mention here but on our website it has a tab that says "100+ things to do in the area" there are museums, Historic buildings, Ivy league towns, artisans, recreational, incredible architecture, arts, cheese tasting, beer tastings, vodka tastings, antiquing, theater etc. If that's not your preference we understand - but again you are right, we can't change this. Finally not all B&Bs are the same, each are unique to their area and owners. That is what makes them remarkable and a different experience for travelers. I encourage you to try another someday. Maybe just a little research on the specific place before might result in a better experience for you.

I believe the owner curates the wine, and it’s a list chocked full of very nice wines, many of which we belong to the wineries because of the quality. It’s a surprisingly varied list. The food was very good - my appetizer was the clams in a wine sauce, and I had the salmon for

We stayed here for a long weekend. From the beginning of our stay, Adam impressed us with his attentiveness. We showed up at 10:00 PM, but he was there to check us in and ensure our room was to our liking. Every morning, he was there to take care of us and served breakfast
