Built in 1793, the inn was originally the home of Colonel Joseph Marsh, Vermont's first lieutenant governor. Since that time, the historic residence has been expanded and carefully restored to maintain as much of the 19th century character and charm as possible, while adding modern conveniences like private baths, cable TV, and air conditioning for all of the guest rooms.

We found this gem by accident. It was during a massive snow storm and this property was the only spot that was open for dinner. We stopped in and fell in love. The meal was superb, hubby had the duck, I had the pork tenderloin. The wine list is exceptional and the pricing on

Hi folks, it was a pleasure having you here this weekend! Glad you enjoyed the Common room and dining while you were here. Thanks for the note about the sign, we are replacing the wiring this week as the solar lights just don't seem to work. We hope you make this an annual event too!
