Delightful and restful stay after a long drive. Great welcome from our host as it was late. She reccommended a meal at the local pub - excellent advice that we took. Comfy bed, cosy room, great shower and delicious breakfast early as we had to get away. Cute little jack russells too. The house is over 200 years old. It...

I stayed here 2 nights, yet would have liked to stay here longer. Every room in the house, including the bathrooms, were immaculately clean, bright, and cheery. The hosts were engaging and truly made their guests feel welcome. You could spend time outdoors relaxing, walking through their garden, sitting in Adirondack chairs, or talking a 5 minute walk down the...

I stayed for one night at Hickory Ridge House, based on it's excellent reviews, and it exceeded expectations. Gillian and Dennis were so welcoming, and upgraded me to the Cottage Suite, which was unbelievably cozy and luxurious all at once. Dennis had recommendations for everything, including a beautiful 3.5 mile run along a stream followed by a dip in the...

This is the most wonderful B & B. My husband and I had a wonderful stay here, it was a lovely experience. The house is gorgeous -- old, interesting and beautiful. The room was lovely, the garden beautiful, and the FOOD! Honestly, it was the best breakfast I've ever had. Everything was perfect -- the scone melted in the mouth...

I have stayed at the Hickory Ridge House three times this past year because my child attends school nearby. Gillian and Dennis are fantastic hosts - kind, charming, welcoming, and fun to chat with. The house is lovely - high ceilings, wonderfully comfortable beds, fireplaces galore, beautiful decorating, etc. Breakfasts are amazingly delicious, complete with homemade scones and locally sourced...

Just a dream, I cried when we pulled in the driveway!!! The house is a home, the rooms magnificent. We had the 'Spring Room'. The rooms are huge, comfortable and private. The owners are welcoming, & helpful. The breakfasts are all presented in a wonderful way - you won't need lunch.

Gillian and Dennis were the perfect Hostess and Host. Their home is a magnificent 1808 dwelling with either 6 or 8 guest rooms. We had the "Rose" room with a private bath and fireplace (with electric fixture). The bed was comfortable and there was lots of room, lots of hot water and ample common space. It was quiet at night...

This exquisite B&B, dating from 1808, is not to be missed. Whether heading to Vermont for some R&R, seeking out beautiful scenery, going antiquing, going hiking, or simply looking for something different, this is the place. The rooms have been gorgeously restored and each one is HUGE. Each room has its own bathroom, whether en suite or in the hallway....
