Another very enjoyable stay at The North Hero House! I stayed two nights in a lakefront room in The Homestead, with a gorgeous view. My room had a king size bed with luxurious linens and charming decor. Although it was chilly, I enjoyed sitting on the porch with a coffee from the in-room Keurig (a very nice touch!) and looking... We stayed at the North Hero House Inn in October, 2016. It is a cozy place with an 'old time' feel in the room decor. Breakfast comes with the room, and the breakfast buffet is a cut above the usual in hotels that offer breakfast. There are three separate buildings, all overlooking the lake. Two of these are smaller 'cottages'... More

We visited North Hero House in October, which is a great place with good facilities and a superb service. To sit in the outdoor Hot Tube and enjoy views of the lake Chamberlain and the Mountains is just wonderful. The food in the restaurant was very exquisite and delicious.

The property offers rooms in the main Inn and lake side units. The common areas are well maintained with nice seating or lounging on the lake beach. In season pub has a nice menu. The House dining is first class. Our Cove House second floor room was quaint with a kind bed , gas fireplace and private screened porch providing... More

We spent one night at this inn which is beautiful. We stayed across the road in The Homestead on the first floor. The room was small but decorated very nice and we enjoyed our time on the screened porch with fantastic views of Lake Champlain. We also walked down to the lawn where there are picnic tables and chairs and... More

North Hero Island in general is a quiet, peaceful place and North Hero House goes right along with the theme. They have several perfect little lakeside cottages with views to die for! We very much enjoyed the private screened in porch directly on the water with incredible mountain views and we also loved the fact that you could hear the... More

We stopped in on the end of our New England Roadtrip. Our room was on the busy highway with people walking by our room all the time. It was clean but small. The shower was extremely small. I have a problem with smells but even my husband said it smelled like his grandma's house. We missed breakfast as we left... More

Stayed upstairs in a room looking over Lake Champlain. Lovely. Screened in porch with Rocking chairs. Pretty petunias provide gorgeous color. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful meal. My picky husband had salmon and thought it was superbly cooked and flavorful. I had the risotto with pieces of butternut squash and pumpkin seeds-really delicious! Salads were creative.... More

Lake resort atmosphere with a touch of country decor for the small resort located on Lake Champlain. The hotel offers a private beach, hot tub and nice area to relax by the lake. It is hard to tell from their photos, but there is a road separating the main guest house and the lakefront buildings. This was not a big... More

For a surprise birthday treat, my family sent my husband and me for a luxurious night's stay at this lovely inn. This was our first visit to the Champlain Islands. We had the best bedroom, with a four-poster-bed, and a jacuzzi in the bathtub. Our room overlooked the lake and we could sit out on the porch, watching the changing... More
