Overpriced, not maintained, everything old. We stayed in a lot of hotels on our 90 day road trip from Washington State thru Prince Edward Island Canada and back to Washingon State thru Canada. We traveled thru all North East US. The Econo Lodge in Vermont was by far the worst and most expensive of all the hotel we stayed in... More

Stopped here for 1 night since other places were booked. Staff were ok but entire place and rooms need a complete makeover. Stains, tears on carpet, bad odor in room and halls. Surprised other reviewers said anything good. I'm willing to stay anywhere when I have little choice but this place would land at the bottom of my list compared... More

We hadn't booked ahead, just turned up and asked for a room for the night. Lady at desk was very welcoming. Offered discount for AA membership. Room was a bit musty, but appeared to have been slightly remodelled recently. Comfortable beds. Close to town for restaurants, etc. Only a few cars in the parking area when we headed into town... We are a European couple (British and German) and stopped in at this Econo Lodge during the Vermont leg of our New England road trip. The hotel is a bit out of town up a hill. The hotel is really not well maintained. While the rooms are spacious, they are not clean. We found other people's loose Cheetos on the... More

I have never been in such a filthy, and uncared for property. It was awful. Also the fan in the bathroom was too loud. There was dirt, dust, and cobwebs everywhere. It just wasn't clean. I'm not even sure a deep cleaning could help this place after so many years of neglect. The windows do not open so there's no... More

Hotel needs serious refurbishment. Carpet stains, musty smell, loose screws, poorly made amateurish repairs. Wifi was not functional in the room. Would not recommend unless absolutely necessary in the area.

OMG do not stay here!!!! This place is disgusting. No security locks on doors and gaps by lock where the door has been pried or kicked open. Smell is so disgusting moldy, smokey and musty old smell!!!! Windows inside room had old nose prints on them. Outside windows bugs and what was vomit or old milkshake thrown on them. Grout... More

Room was clean to an extent. Building lobby inside completely. The downstairs rooms are unsecure with heating/cooling units running and a couple windows open and all doors unlocked in hallway so anyone can come and go. The only people that have to go inside the lobby are the upstairs rooms. The breakfast room was crowded and hot. Good breakfast though.

We ended up at this motel quite by default. It was late and we were exhausted so we checked in. The place is not well maintained. The rooms have only windows looking into a corridor. Thank god there is AC. The corridor is smelly and disgusting. The room is clean and the beds are very confortable. So if you just... More
