Will enjoy staying there again..Also had a superb massage in their Spa… We enjoyed the location, right in the centre of town…Whenever we needed some advice or help , we would always get it…The lounge area very comfortable to have guests over.. There were snacks available even if we wanted a little something before retiring..be it a tea or a cookie…

This is a gem of an old country farmhoues and barn beautifully restored into a BnB. The hosts are very generous and the breakfast was terrific. The bed was ultra comfortable. Everything was just perfect for a get away ski weekend. Sure to return at some point.

We stayed at the inn for a weekend of skiing at Jay Peak and loved our quick visit. Apres in the hot tub was a highlight and great way to end the day and warm up. We stayed in the Red room, which was great for two. The Inn keepers were so welcoming and friendly throughout our entire stay, breakfast in the morning was quick and delicious. We will be back next season for another ski weekend!

We had a lovely stay at this quaint inn. Rooms were clean and cozy, even in our pet friendly room. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of simple but welcomed amenities and breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely visit again when in the area, especially with our four legged friend.

My husband and I were married here in 2014 and we have returned every few years for our anniversary. We always have an excellent stay. Darren and Lynne are welcoming and take care of every detail to make your stay enjoyable. For example, there was a knife and a cutting board for cheese in the room, with a baggie in case you didn’t finish your cheese. There are numerous snacks available complimentary for guests, which are COVID friendly as they are in individual baggies. Since we were last here, they added Spa Vermont. There is another hot tub and 2 saunas that are available for guests. Another example of service was Darren noticed the hot tub had too many bubbles in it. He went and fetched a person friendly chemical to reduce the bubbles. He is always looking for ways to make the stay extra special. The food is excellent; the blackberry French toast is our favorite. Again, we always enjoy our stay, and can’t say enough about the excellent service and attention to detail.

We had such a great weekend stay at Phineas Swann Inn & Spa, an amazing B&B close to Jay Peak. We stayed in the main house, a lovely historic mansion, with the most comfortable bed, incredible service, wonderful hot breakfasts, hot tub, snacks, and many thoughtful touches throughout. This is place where you actually feel at home. They have other buildings with various suites and rooms that are all dog friendly, too! Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Trout River Suite for nearly 1 week and had an amazing time! We woke up every morning to a delicious breakfast (blackberry stuffed French toast, waffles to order, eggs Benedict etc.) with lots of fresh Vermont maple syrup! We were able to go skiing at Jay Peak and the owners were nice enough to give us a coupon for discounted lift tickets (nearly 40% off!). We also went snowmobiling and spent a day in the spa (more later). We brought our dog Max who had an amazing time and was welcomed with his own dog bed, treats and food/water bowls! He had a great time as he got walks every day while we were out and loved playing in the snow. Our last day we enjoyed the new spa. We got a couples massage which was sublime after several days of skiing. We also made use of the saunas (both infrared and steam sauna) and the hot tub. The spa was incredible and we wish we had utilized it more earlier! Overall this was a phenomenal stay with two great innkeepers (Thanks Darren and Lynne)! We will certainly be back, especially with our four legged friend!

We are glad that both you and Max had a great week with us. Most of our guests only get to enjoy a day or two with us. We can’t help but believe that those who spend a week here at the Phineas Swann come back home permanently changed. We’re glad you had a great stay and can’t wait to see you again.

honestly, i don’t think there’s enough good things to say about this place. not only is it ABSOLUTELY adorable. the owners are some of the most kind people. you’re greeted and shown around the inn and personally to your room. the amenities are far more than you could ever ask for. what most places would charge a pretty penny extra for, you get included for your nightly stay! my husband wanted to stay an extra night but they were booked! his favorite was the swedish steam sauna and i’ll have to agree but then we had the best breakfast i’ve ever eaten. blackberry french toast & bacon! (cant forget about the strawberry danish!) YUM! at checkout, we were given a parting gift and i haven’t shut up about it on this 7 hour car ride home. :) if we find ourselves coming back to Jay for more snowboarding, this will be the first place i will look to book!!

We have stayed at the Phineas Swan multiple times and continue to go back. The service and hospitality are wonderful. The Inn Keepers make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. They provide a wonderful start to your day with a great breakfast in a bright dining area and are very accommodating to special dietary needs. Our suite was well appointed and the addition to their spa makes for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Thanks for staying with us so many times! Guests like yourself who come back again and again is the best endorsement we could ask for. And thanks for pointing out that we work hard to make sure those with special diets get to enjoy the same delicious Vermont breakfasts as everyone else!
