This was my first bed and breakfast experience and the bedroom was very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. Everything was fresh. Fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh ground coffee, with farm to table ingredients. Pancakes, Scones, Breakfast meats, eggs. It was a delicious spread. All guest sat at a big dining room table family style. It was fun to get...

What a lovely B & B in an amazing part of our country. Such gracious welcoming Hosts! We have a B & B in Bar Harbor and we enjoyed comparing and being served. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the nice weekend even though our reason for visit was sad (niece passing), you made it like home.

What can be better than feeling as though you are at home while at the same time being pampered? We have traveled from MD several times to see family and absolutely love staying with Peter and Deborah. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. The common spaces charming. Deborah fixes an awesome breakfast and adds so much TLC. Don't...

Innkeeper Deborah arranged for us to arrive very late at night - almost midnight, met us briefly to make sure we got in ok and then rose at 6 AM the next morning to cook us a superb breakfast including freshly baked scons - still warm from the oven. Her homemade jams were outstanding - the pear jam was fabulous...

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sampler House. The accommodations were fantastic. Our bed was very comfortable. The Inn's location is quiet and only 20 minutes from downtown Burlington. Deborah and Peter were gracious hosts and very accommodating to our unique situation. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Vermont.

Debbie was extremely friendly and helpful. She made our trip extra special. Breakfast was delicious! She makes the best homemade jams. We were there just to sight see the fall leaves. The room was spacious with private bath. The Windows can be opened in your room and you have a small private heater and air conditioner in your room. You...

The Sampler House is a beautiful home with incredible attention to detail. The hosts are warm and super helpful. Enjoyed my stay-everywhere I looked I saw another lovely detail. The room was spacious, bed was terrific, bath has rainfall shower and jetted tub. Plenty of room for 2.

Historic house on residential street. Deborah and Peter treated us like family. Fresh from their garden blueberries and rhubarb muffins! Loved the roomy Hydrangea room with morning rainbow in the large open shower. The only problem was was the narrow steps to the second floor. We were assisted with our luggage which made it doable.

We recently completed a one week cycling trip around norther Vermont and stayed in b&b's the whole time. While all were good experiences, The Sampler House was our favorite. The room (we stayed in the Hydrangea Room) was clean, the bed VERY comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. But, most of all, and what can really separate one b&b from another...

This early 1800s home has been totally renovated into a charming home for Deborah & Peter, as well as a most comfortable B & B. The upstairs features 2 wonderfully appointed and charming rooms, one of which even has a hot tub. We opted for the 3rd room which was above their garage, and were pleasantly surprised at how great...
