What a beautiful place to stay while up in the Killington/Rutland Vermont area. We typically don't book at B&B's (for no particular reason) but last year ended up at another B&B that we thought was fabulous and said to ourselves it's be hard to top that experience. And then we stayed at the Red Clover Inn. I'm not going to make the same mistake and say that this experience cannot be topped, but...it really was amazing. The hosts are so gracious and attentive. The place itself has just the "coziest" feel to it. Cookies and snacks and tea and coffee available in the evening for guests, a delicious breakfast and one of the best restaurants you will find anywhere for dinner. There's also an outdoor hot tub that is wonderful and a small bar that makes the best drinks. We truly enjoyed this place and highly recommend it to anyone - even those who typically do not stay at B&Bs.…
Great place to chill out and enjoy Vermont, with skiing, hiking and other activities nearby. The restaurant is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!
We had dinner and the restaurant is very classic and romantic. Dinner was by the fire in the main dining. The inn has alot of history. The restaurant and the food was fantastic! If you are in Killington, you have to try it.
Cozy Vermont Inn with a lot of history. We had a suite separate from inn. Well appointed and separate entrance. Breakfast delicious and water, ice and coffee always available at inn. Would suggest a few repairs. Only one screen on windows so could only open one. Would have liked an ice bucket available. Had to put baggies of ice in sink. Fireplace remote not working. Had to open bottom grate and turn on manually. Would have liked window curtain above tub. Overall nice quiet place.
We just had my daughter's wedding at the Red Clover Inn and we couldn't be happier. Carol was the wedding planner extraordinaire and made sure everything went as according to plan -- including holding off the rain until the ceremony was finished while bride and groom stood under the 100 year old apple tree. Everyone was so very friendly and the food was superb. Our wedding party took over the Inn for the weekend and it felt like the home had been in our family for generations! Wish I could give the Red Clover Inn and staff 10 stars, but will settle for 5.
