Wow, Wow, Wow, what an amazing B and B! Andrea and her team are amazing! Love this Inn. The food is great, the coffee delicious and the room clean. The inn is close to town and in the perfect location. Our room was super cozy and comfy. The grounds are well taken care of and the outdoor firepits are amazing, definitely nice for a cool fall night! The tavern is such a nice treat too, for a nice cocktail hour with lite fare before heading out to dinner! They also had cornhole available as well as other games to keep busy too. Also a plus were their cute mascots Lucky and Sadie. Great job Andrea and the whole crew, cannot wait to visit again. P.S- Thanks to Peyton for reteaching me one of my favorite childhood games, Mancala!

Excellent! Sarah checked us in with Lucky (cockapoo) and later in the night, we met Andrea. My husband and I had a great time at the Barnstead Inn. This beautiful Inn is walking distance to the downtown area with wide selections of restaurants. Innkeepers are extremely friendly, helpful and made our stay comfortable. Felt like we were staying at a friend's place. Breakfasts were delicious. I would highly recommend this Inn. You will love Andrea and her team!

My husband and I had an amazing three night stay at the Barnstead Inn and we were so impressed at the gorgeous, “Vermont Country Living” buildings, with no detail left out, straight down to the local “Dorset Daughters” soaps in the bathroom! The owners, Andrea and Pete, have mastered the art of running a beautiful inn, which includes a delicious farm-to-table breakfast every morning, inviting swimming pool and daily fire pits surrounded by comfy, cozy Adirondack chairs for the guests’ pleasure. Andrea and Pete are passionate about supporting local businesses, and proudly sell local Vermont items in their gift shop, including Andrea’s homemade granola, which is so delectable! We cannot wait to come back and visit again. The Barnstead Inn provides personalized service with a smile. Not easy to find these days. Hope to be back for a Fall/Winter visit!

By far one of the best experiences we've had staying in VT. This will be our go to place for now on. First off, Andrea and Pete are amazing hosts. They make you feel right at home from the minute you arrive. Plus their two dogs, Lucky and Cider, are an added bonus of cuteness! You want to talk about warm and cozy? Well that's the Barnstead Inn! Our room was perfect and really was a home away from home. The bed was comfortable and not your average "hotel" bed. Breakfast was unreal! Something different and delicious everyday before heading to the mountain. Finally, the highlight of our trip was hanging out at the most chill bar drinking their signature drinks, making s'mores and some amazing family memories. We are already planning our return this summer. You will not be disappointed staying at the Barnstead. We would've moved in if we could've. See you this summer Barnstead Inn!

My husband and I just finished a blissful four night stay at the Barnstead Inn for Presidents Day weekend. The Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. First, the owners Andrea and Pete were so welcoming and down to earth and gave us great suggestions for hikes and places to eat in the area based on our preferences. Andrea was so kind to search for and take a picture of ski lift vouchers we accidentally left behind in our room, which saved us a big headache! We also loved chatting with Jake at the bar and over breakfast. He’s a super nice and interesting guy who made us feel instantly at home. The room was warm, had everything we needed and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect and it was great being able to take a little stroll into the center of town. We’re looking forward to visiting again soon!
