This is by far the nicest inn in the beautiful town of Manchester…we checked out several! It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the Bass Suite- very roomy and so comfortable! We will be back!
My wife and I just returned home from a three day stay at the Inn. We needed to "get away" and The Inn, the staff and the Manchester "experience" was just want we needed. Brian, Gabby, Todd, Virgil and everyone else on the Inn's team were engaging, welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. We usually don't stay at inns, but this experience had surely changed our minds. We very much enjoyed chatting with the other guests over breakfast or in the lounge. The team gave us great advice about local attractions, hiking trails, shops and dining. Our only regret was that we didn't wander out an sit around the fire pit after dinner! Overall, a very needed memorable experience and one that we will certainly hit "repeat" next year.
We stayed here one night while traveling through Vermont. I cannot say enough about this inn. Our room was beautiful and large. The property is gorgeous. What a beautiful place for a wedding or special event. The breakfast is phenomenal. Loved the cottage cakes. The inn is close to downtown and is very quiet. If you have the opportunity, make this a stop while in Vermont.
We made a reservation some time ago and when the time drew near there was a error with reservation that created a serious uncertainty. That was the bad news. The good news is the owners and staff at the Inn at Manchester took a negative and went over the top to provide us with an extraordinary solution. The fix was offered by Brian, the owner, who went above & beyond to provide us with an experience that exceeded our expectations! They obviously care deeply about their customer service. WOW! I must also add that the staff was exemplary and personable. Todd made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. He provided insight to activities and services in the area that was a great asset. The Inn location could not be more central to the area's activities and restaurants. When you have breakfast, you must try the cottage cakes.....sinful! The bar is well stocked for the preparation of traditional cocktail beverages. A nice feature when you don't want to travel to another location for a relaxing cocktail. In summary, if you seek a memorable Vermont vacation, the Inn at Manchester is a strong recommendation. Thanks to all for a terrific stay.…
Excellent staff!!! Personable! Gorgeous and quaint. Very clean and comforting. Delicious breakfast. Very accommodating. Highly recommend! We really enjoyed the solitude of our stay. It was peaceful and beautiful. Thank you!
The Inn at Manchester is the perfect place for a VT weekend getaway! My husband surprised me for my birthday and we had a fabulous time. The accommodations were beautiful, up to date, and very clean. The communication from the host was fantastic even with us checking in late. We were even greeted with a bottle of wine and a birthday card set up in our room upon arrival! The Inn is located very close to Bromley and Stratton which we took advantage of and right in the middle of the cutest town full of shops and restaurants to explore. And if you wanted to stay in, you can cozy up by the fireplaces, have a cocktail at their bar, or enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast. We highly recommend a stay here can’t wait to visit again!
My husband & I visited the Inn at Manchester in mid-December for a long weekend. The inn (and the entire town!) was decorated beautifully for the holiday. We loved the quaint vibes and the myriad of cozy fireplaces--it snowed about two feet just prior to our arrival so the ambiance was lovely. Our room had it's own thermostat so we could control the heat, the shower had awesome water pressure, and sheets are so cozy that the inn sells them! The breakfast is exactly what you want at an inn---a savory handmade dish, eggs cooked to perfection, local coffee/teas, and fresh Vermont maple syrup. The biggest gem of the inn is the 'living room' style pub (open alllll day until about 9.30p). We didn't plan on relaxing at the bar but we are glad we did. We actually visited the bar several times-hahah! Brian (Owner) and Todd (Innkeeper) serve up every kind of cocktail, craft beer, and local wine you can imagine. We really enjoyed the conversation with other guests and the drinks were fab! The inn is a 5 min drive (or 15 min walk) into Manchester---cute local shops, restaurants, and a wonderful bookstore; Stratton Mountain was about 30 min away. Brian and his peers have great reco's for restaurants, activities, and everything in between. The inn has an event space in a beautiful barn, an outdoor pool so they really focus on year round experiences. Thank you Brian and team for such a wonderful relaxing trip.…
A traditional, warm and genuine New England inn, situated in the beautiful village of Manchester, Vt. Close to shops, restaurants and other attractions. The Inn was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. Our cozy and comfortable room (Cinnamon) had 2 comfy chairs, which we so appreciated. The attractive common rooms, including the fireplaced bar and living rooms, were festively decorated for the holiday season. Breakfast was simply delicious. Fresh ingredients, deliciously prepared. All managed by 2 charming and helpful hosts. All in all, a wonderful time in a beautiful inn. Perfect in every way. Thank you!
My husband and I went to Manchester to celebrate his birthday. We stayed at the Inn at Manchester and were enchanted by it. We stayed in the Peach Blossom, a spotless suite in the Carriage House. It had a lovely fireplace with a cozy sitting area, comfy king-size bed and well appointed bathroom. The manager, Todd, directed us to the Copper Grouse, a neighboring hotel's bar that would have the only charcuterie plate (my husband's request) to be had on a Monday night. We met a wonderful bartender there named Patrick. We enjoyed it so much that we cancelled our dinner reservations elsewhere and ate dinner there as well. The next morning we met the inn's owners, Gabby and Brian. They served a lovely homemade breakfast of eggs however we wanted them with sausage, fruit, juice and toast made with some marvelous whole grain bread. The coffee was plentiful, hot and delicious. Gabby gave us some suggestions on places to visit on our way out of town and for a nice after-breakfast hike. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful inn and its caring staff. This was my first visit to Manchester but it won't be my last. I can't see staying anywhere other than the Inn at Manchester.…
A stay at the Inn is simultaneously like stepping into yesteryear when travelers were treated like family & like dropping into a romantic comedy set in the most picturesque of New England towns. The owners and their stellar staff, especially charismatic and service minded Todd, are simply the most generous, wonderful hosts. They opened their Inn to me when they were supposed to be closed and hosted me and my business customers. The property is nothing less than precious and the breakfast pancakes delicious. So, hurry up, book your room and get ready to sit in front of a lovely wood fire in the living room on a cozy Vermont evening. I can't wait to one day go back.
