My massage at The Stepping Stone Inn and Spa left me relaxed and the complimentary sauna before was just what I needed to warm up and get more relaxed for my massage. Susan and Suzanne were friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The views are remarkable! Every time we stepped outside it took our breath away. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding area and going on hikes. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful property with scenic mountains. Hot tub and Jacuzzi was fabulous! Large room was cozy, quiet, and warm. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Best of all, the foot reflexology and massage was heavenly. We would love to stay here again.

A bleak, rainy Saturday afternoon brightened up when I booked a massage at Stepping Stones. They accommodated my last minute request and gave complimentary access to their real Finnish sauna, too. Top notch massage from Rachel left me relaxed and rejuvenated. Treat yourself.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We are truly happy to accomodate as many as we can. The Serenity Spa currently has three treatment rooms on-site and all the therapists are well-trained.

I was on a mountain biking trip with my son and I really appreciated that stay. It's nice, confortable, quiet and surrounded by nature. The people out there are kind and helpful. A storage for our bikes is provided. I would recommend Stepping Stones Inn and would certainly return.

The grounds were beautifully landscaped, the interior was wonderfully decorated, the staff was welcoming and kind. Best massage around!!! I will be going back often. I am a local and this will be my new go-to stop for massages. I look forward to trying more spa experiences as well as yoga!

The new owners at Stepping Stones are working hard to make this a superb home base for your outdoor adventures in the area, including installing a bike washing station! Every room has great views (most with private bath), and super-comfortable. Breakfast is on your own in their well-equipped kitchen; we had eggs, but there was also cereals and breads. While...

This is such a beautiful Inn. The rooms are light and airy and extremely comfortable. The location is great -- with incredible mountain biking just steps away. I enjoyed the expansive views from the outdoor hot tub and had one of the best massages ever by Rachel. I highly recommend Stepping Stones Inn.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Stepping Stones Inn is located on beautiful Darling Hill on the Kingdom Trails system. Kingdom Trails offers mountain biking, winter biking, snow-shoeing, cross country traditional and skate skiing. We are also 3 miles from Burke Mountain, a four season resort offering downhill skiing and mountain biking. Access to the VAST system is across the street. Willoughby Lake (in the GAP) is 15 minutes away. Newly opened as a Bed and Breakfast, we also offer massage therapy, yoga sessions and dry saunas. We recommend booking ahead for restaurants as they do get busy. Our restaurant recommendations are Foggy Goggle, Publick House, and Sweet Basils. Additionally, Mike's Tiki Bar is a must for every mountain biker! Located in downtown East Burke, there is a food truck and wine and beer bar. We do not yet have our own beer license, and we are BYOB. ... more   less

“The 'Tranquility' Room doesn't have its own bathroom (it's across the hall)... is above the front desk and right next to the stair case. So there's not a whole lot of 'Tranquility' that comes with the 'Tranquility' room :-) It also has a double-size bed which I find too small for a couple.”
