Great location by beautiful Echo Lake in Vermont. The proprietors, Bruce and Tina, run the best B&B we have ever been in, with great attention to comfort and detail, and with superb home-cooked breakfasts and dinners. It's also a very good value.

Our Shangri-La Whenever we need special R&R, we head for the Inn at Water’s Edge. Nestled among the green hills of Vermont, this lovely inn snuggles against a gem of a small lake of perfect size for a morning or afternoon of gentle canoeing. If we wish, we can just settle into the Adirondack chairs in the shade at the... More

Although I live in Vermont, I had never had reason to spend time in Ludlow until I took part in a three-day retreat. What a golden nugget this inn turned out to be!!! Yes, the actual rooms and décor (and gorgeous bar!) were what I had expected based on their website's photos. What I didn't expect was such warm and... More

My husband and I just spent 2 nights at Inn at Water's Edge. The Inn is lovely and our room was very comfortable. The hosts, Bruce and Tina, were very attentive and we enjoyed talking with them both. We also had dinner one night at the Inn which we enjoyed. As lovely as the Inn is, what really sets it... More

The Inn at Water's Edge is a beautiful spot on Echo Lake in Vermont. The innkeepers are a hilarious and welcoming couple of New Yorkers who have lovingly converted a historic home and barns into the perfect getaway. Bruce and Tina make you feel right at home and provide quality accommodations, not to mention delicious food, great company and great... More

I was fortunate to spend a few days at The Inn at Water's Edge. The rooms were well decorated, pristine and comfortable. The innkeepers were delightful and so sweet. The food was amazing - seriously. If I lived closer, I drive up just for a meal. The grounds are beautiful - wild flowers galore, a dock at Echo's Lake, hammocks,... More

Just came back from a lovely stay at the Inn. Was traveling with my husband and my son; my son and I have celiac disease and must adhere to a strict gluten-free diet. Bruce, the innkeeper, told me on the phone at the time of booking that his wife Tina could easily accommodate us for breakfast (and dinner too if... More

The property is gorgeous and the common spaces are inviting and classy. Bruce and Tina are immediately your friends, and with the amazing bar/pub area and its ambiance, we found it difficult to leave the property. We could not have asked for anything more than what we were graciously offered. A thousand thank yous for a visit that refreshed our... More

We spent a week during ski season last year and loved the accommodations. We were so impressed that we decided to try a week during the summer The inn is situated on Echo Lake with a private dock and a lovely setting for a late afternoon cocktail. There is a canoe to explore the beautiful lake and there are bikes... More

My wife and I spent a night at the Inn while on a motorcycle trip through Central Vermont. Bruce and Tina were extremely welcoming and wonderful hosts. The rooms were exceptionally clean, fine linens, comfortable bed and everything we needed was there. The Inn is just a few steps from Echo Lake and as it was very warm that day,... More
