Where do I begin?!! We (19 of us )just got back from a 2 night stay at this beautiful INN! I began looking for a place for the family to stay at to help celebrate my 50th. I came across the INN @ Water’s Edge. Starting reading the reviews and immediately showed my Wife and Sister and we booked the entire INN. I received the confirmation and the emails immediately started coming from the Inn Keeper Joel and Chef Mitch asking how they could assist us with every last detail. Mitch called me a few days later and we started planning out our Dinner I wanted to have for all 19 family members. He literally jumped through hoops for us. Dairy free / Gluten free (not a easy task). Every course of the meal was Phenomenal. Kale soup/ seared scallops/ roasted chicken/ trout / right down to mango curd dessert. AMAZING !!! And the breakfast buckwheat pancakes/ fresh eggs/ 2 types of bacon. He’s a true talent Now we can’t forget about Joel (Inn Keeper ) a true asset to the INN. He as well sent me numerous emails asking about every detail that we needed. He asked about type of Liquor we would like to have just so he can have the Beautiful!! Bar stocked to our likings and boy he did not disappoint. A few days prior to our arrival Joel/ Mitch sent me yet another email this one was about the rooms and head counts per room and of any special requests were needed Extra Towels was asked for ( Women have long hair ). We arrive at the INN and we was welcomed by Joel with open arms. He gave a tour of the INN and walked every one of us to our BEAUTIFUL furnished rooms CLEAN/ Tidy and yes the extra towels lol! From the minute we settled in we went down to the bar before dinner and Joel / Mitch were these incredible hosts. Every item I sent him for the long list of particular liquors he had stocked even a good choice of Bourbon. The 2 days we stayed right down to the minute we walked out the door to head home Joel/ Mitch made us feel that we chose the right INN to stay at. So much we are planning a possible summer outing 2021. On behalf of my entire family We THANK You guys JOB WELL DONE!!!🙏

In the event, that you feel the need to run away from home, run as fast as you can to none other than THE INN AT WATER'S EDGE! What an awesome place to decompress, relax and reconnect with great friends. The warmth and coziness of the Inn makes you feel hugged the minute you walk in the front door. The staff makes you feel like family, and did I mention the food, the wine is top notch! There is a catchy song that goes like this "Over the river and through the woods..." Just Do It! Thank you, -Duke

Needing some downtime, we spent a long weekend enjoying the Fall foliage and visiting the area with friends. The inn was welcoming, cozy and relaxing. We were pointed in the right direction upon our arrival to a nearby local shop with a deli that makes great sandwiches and you can buy bait for fishing. Kayaking on the lake and a campfire later in the evening before heading inside for a cocktail fireside was the perfect end to our first travel day. The inn is the perfect central location for so many enjoyable activities and experiences. The innkeepers are very knowledgeable and engaging giving the right amount of guidance while respecting the need for quiet downtime. You will not be disappointed!

By Diane Paulhus My husband and Myself with our very good friend needed to escape for a few days and prayed we picked the right place! We couldn’t believe how lucky we were the minute we walked in the door and were greeted by Joel. We were early, but we still were made to feel like we just walked into our home away from home immediately. I remember thinking we will be back again before we even checked in. We had the Tuesday night meal created by Chef Mitch which was delicious and our breakfasts also made by Chef Mitch which were inventive and tasty as well. We loved everything about this Inn from the living room , fire by the lake, wines by the glass or bottle and the attention to our every need. Many thanks to Connie, Joel and Mitch,....we can’t wait to come back again and hopefully be able to sit at that marvelous bar you have! Read less 1 item, updated Oct 2020 Helpful Share

Dear Diane. We really enjoyed getting to know you, your husband and Linda. If you liked us during the crazy "covid" era, just think how much fun it will be when we are free again!!! Hope to see you soon.

My husband and I recently stayed here on a trip to Vermont to explore fall foliage. This inn surpassed our expectations! It is a beautiful, newly renovated inn with a stunning view of Echo lake in their backyard. The rooms were very clean and comfortable to stay in and the entire place is quite charming. From their delicious breakfasts, their drinks at the bar, the wood fire in the "great room" and canoeing in the lake, this place offered way more than we thought it would. The hosts, Joel and Mitch, were very welcoming, pleasant and extremely accommodating. We wish we could have stayed here longer as it was the prefect getaway during these Covid times. We definitely will be back!
