The Dwelling Place is a perfect place to get away from the worries and cares of every day life. The rooms are kept in meticulous fashion by Becky and the accessibility to the kitchen facilities provides you with an option to eating an expensive meal out. You can cook up a lovely bowl of pasta and then curl up by... More

The Dwelling Place is a lovingly cared for site with sheep grazing in the field. I enjoyed the home-iness of the house. The bedrooms were comfortable. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms were spotless. A wonderful place to stay in itself. A plus because of its proximity to both Weston Priory and the towns of Ludlow and Weston.

Whether in the Ludlow area for a weekend getaway or a few days of reflection, St. Joseph's is a warm, peaceful place to stay - particularly if you are on a budget. Twin-bedded rooms and shared bathrooms, which sometimes are yours alone. Guest kitchen and sitting room round out the accommodations. Did I mention the sheep grazing outside? A great... More

This is a very lovely place to relax. I found myself surrounded by comfort. It is such a short drive from downtown Ludlow I was amazed that the tranquility made me feel like I was miles away. The attention to detail that the gals perform far exceed those of most places I've stayed at in the past. Great job and... More

This is a charming, lovingly maintained retreat center that costs about $70 for a room with two beds (and a bathroom shared with one other room). Our room was spotless. During our stays, we have had a bathroom to ourselves. The setting is gorgeous, just four miles from Weston Priory and about the same distance from the town of Ludlow.... More

My husband and I spend two weekends each year at St. Joseph's. It's a great place to stay , especially if you are on a budget. There is a kitchen for your use, so you don't need to eat out for every meal. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a shared bathroom , and a sitting room, with books,... More

A peaceful weekend for a group of eight in a beautiful country setting. It was like staying in the home of a friend, where we had the run of the kitchen to cook and eat our meals or sit over coffee, and to roam around the spacious grounds. We were attending a special spiritual retreat given by Catherine Joanne, whose... More

We have been coming to St. Joseph's Dwelling Place for many years now. Sometimes it's just my husband and me and sometimes others join us. The location is wonderful; in between Weston & Ludlow, both charming towns (especially Weston). Many restaurants to choose from as well as shopping. Also, very close to Okemo Mt. As another reviewer stated, there is... More

Five room guest house within a few minutes of Okimo ski area. The rooms were very clean and confortable and guests had the use of two reading rooms and a kitchen. The house was close to other ski areaas ,the Vermont Country Store and the Weston Priory. The innkeeper has invited local massage therapists to be available for guests. I... More
