GMFR is a wonderful place to go to find your peaceful, happy, non-stressed, grateful, energized, joyful self again! It is a beautiful place where you are surrounded by women dealing with challenges like yourself, in a very safe, supportive environment. You will feel the stress just melt away and learn how to be light hearted and enthusiastic about life again....

We both spent 4 weeks at GMFR in Sept/Oct 2016. It was a very worthwhile experience in a unique program and beautiful setting. We both went separately to GMFR and became friends. We just met up for a weekend in Boston and talked a lot about what a positive experience it was for both of us. The Staff were fantastic,...

I love this place, the people, the experience. I spent 2 weeks here and it was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. I am unsure if I lost any physical weight, but I do know I lost a ton of emotional weight that was holding me back from living my best life. The staff, the other...

Green Mountain at Fox Run was more than anything I could have wanted! It is an old ski lodge that is quiet and homey. Everyone there is welcoming, and accommodating from the women that clean the rooms up to the Program Director. All have the same goal and that is to ensure that the women who choose to be there...

I just spent 2 weeks at Green Mountain. Before I booked my trip, I was looking for a program that I could go to for a few weeks and lose large quantities of pounds. As I was searching, I realized I couldn't face losing and gaining the weight back again as I had done so many times in the past....

GMFR is a special place. Being there was a transformative experience for me. The staff, culture, setting, programs and --yes-- the food were all excellent and together created a thoughtful, informed, nurturing atmosphere in which to reshape how I think about food, nourishment, and my own well-being. I feel like what I really lost were so many of the burdens...

If you're looking for a 10-pound weight loss in a week, complete with massages, manicures and facials, move on. You will be VERY disappointed. This place is rustic, like an old ski lodge. The stairs are killers. The bathrooms are in serious need of renovation. But, if you are seeking a new approach to permanently changing how you approach your...
