The hospitality is outstanding. Vince and staff are very attentive to all your needs . The restaurant is top notch . Burger night is my favorite. The smoked mayo with the homemade fries to die for. Dog friendly is a big plus. Our dog didn’t want to leave . Can’t wait to go back.
Adorable hotel, nothing super fancy, but super clean and the nicest people and right at Magic Mountain and super close to other ski resorts in the area. You can’t go wrong! We have a two bedroom and it is perfect for our needs. Quaint and cozy.
Large clean rooms, with nice bedding. Friendly and helpful staff. We were with a conference, and the group meals were delicious and generous. Very relaxing atmosphere, with a spacious living room area for meeting and reading. Beautiful natural areas close by.
Awesome! I brought my 2 teenage daughters and they brought 2 friends. We had a family suite, they doubled up in the queens, i grabbed a bunk. I didn't see them all weekend, except for one time they yelled Hi Dad from the red chair. I had them charge meals to the room. They loved it. I loved it. I've already booked the same weekend for 2023. Book your stay now, you'll love this place!
We booked the Dostals Unit for a Labor Day wedding. The hotel was booked by all the guests attending the wedding which made it even more amazing. What a wonderful stay!!! The owner and the staff could not have been any more accommodating, friendly, or welcoming. We never made it to any of the local restaurants, because we were so pleased with the restaurant downstairs. We enjoyed both breakfasts and dinners. The food was amazing from the selections, the presentation, to the flavors! The waitstaff were interactive and on point. A truly magical little place nestled in Magic Mountain.
I’ve never written a review for a service or product I’ve never used. However, we were booked to stay here so we could go on an ATV tour. Sadly, bc of changes in infection rates for our county we were unable to come to VT. We booked through a 3rd party and the refund process was proving to be an ordeal. Vince the proprietor worked with us until we were all set, even working with the 3rd party on our behalf. Well we never got to stay here but in Nov, God wiling if we are able and this pandemic takes a break we will look no further for a place to stay and to come to Vermont for snow mobile fun. Times are hard right now and so many people have hard attitudes. It was so nice to come across Vince, he was kind and helpful and we thank him for being steady in uncertain times.
Stayed for a wedding in June. Cozy little place with beautiful views, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Great local selection at the bar, the food was fantastic as well - best tomato soup I've ever had in my LIFE! The managers were doing the jobs of several different people and giving everything they did 110%, and it showed! Definitely want to come back in the winter!
This is a ski lodge which happens to stay open year round - with very reasonable off-season rates. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable (and had a jacuzzi!). There wasn't supposed to be any breakfast, but the host put out hot muffins and coffee in the morning. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Came up for a rejuvenation, a quick weekend getaway, a fall foliage treat for the eyes. Our host at the lodge,Vince, was charming, informative, and a bit of a comedian, refreshing. Our room was spacious and clean. The deck outside our back door was a treat to sit and unwind after a busy day with a glass of wine before dinner. We chatted with every guest and was amazed at where everyone was from. The in house restaurant served up good comfort food. Our meal was delish.
2nd year staying here and both times were great, Vince is friendly and accommodating . Very peaceful even with the restaurant below. Dog friendly, which is a must for us. Will definitely be back again next year.
