We love Snowdon Chalet!!! The location is perfect for so many places- Bromley, Magic, Stratton, and Okemo ski areas, great shopping in Weston and Manchester, and countless opportunities for hiking and water adventures. I discovered Snowdon Chalet by chance when coming up to see a World Cup race at Killington. Jen, the owner, was amazing. I had to leave early in the morning to catch the race, so she made a lunch bag with a fresh muffin, snack bars, a box of juice, and a yogurt- and had it waiting for me when I got out the door at 6:00am. The motel has a truly hip, retro architectural vibe. The rooms are all updated, always clean, and stocked with goodies. Jen and her husband are very accommodating- the customer service here is like no where else. Very family friendly and they truly care that you’re enjoying your stay at the motel and finding great things to do in the area. We’ve priced other places in the area. But you really get a vastly better experience and value at Snowdon Chalet.

Hotel's Favorite
When we were looking to spend a couple days in Vermont the beginning of this month, we were put off by the room rates we were finding. That is, until we found Snowden Chalet Motel. Their room rates combined with photos and room descriptions convinced us they were worth a look. Their extensive list of policies and restrictions, and the reasons for them, were a delight to read and made the place even more appealing to us! They were equally focused on guest comfort and protecting the property. The owner Jen came across to us on a brief phone call as being genuine and friendly, an impression that was confirmed when we met her. We had a very relaxed and pleasant two-night stay in a spacious room with a king bed, microwave and a small refrigerator with a real freezer. The bathroom was small but had enough shelves that we could have our toiletries out and in hand's reach. Water pressure was good and we never had an issue with hot water. The room was thoughtfully furnished with a small table and 2 chairs for eating at, plus 2 upholstered chairs for relaxing and reading. Jen and Dom are genuine, friendly, approachable and accommodating. We will happily stay here again!

This "Chalet Motel" was totally a "breath of fresh air"! Room was very clean and homey. Very quant and retro feel. Husband and I were blown away by all the personal touches! There was a basket of assorted snacks, cute napkins, REAL plants, extra quilts for the bed, and waters and sodas in the fridge. Windows actually open! Grounds are impeccable. They have a binder put together with actual menus from their favorite restaurants/diners, places to shop, and tons of other information to help make your stay more enjoyable. (I actually read it from cover to cover). Owners, Jen and Dom, are so accommodating and made us feel like family! We spent 2 nights here this past weekend and are going back up this weekend. Make sure to stop at Bob's Diner in Manchester, VT and Stone House Antiques in Chester, VT. A+++++++++++++

Amazing getaway for Labor Day weekend. The Snowdon is located right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go! The rooms are spacious and clean with all the updated amenities we needed. The ability to have a delicious to-go breakfast in the morning helped us get on the road for our adventures! You will not want for anything while under the watch of the owners. The whole stay felt like we were staying with family (in the best way possible). Vermont offers so much other than skiing. Jen and Dom go out of their way to provide information on all things local and really helped us find some unique places to visit while we were in town. If you are looking for your home-away-from-home, and some beautiful sites, Snowdon is the place to stay!!

My wife and I have been staying here since before Jen and Dom became the owners. We travel quite a bit and we always have a great stay when we are here. They have made many improvements to the exterior and to the the rooms. Their hospitality is second to none every time we stay here. We spent Easter weekend there and two of the nights there were only two units rented. We did not expect breakfast on those mornings but when I opened the door to drive for coffee and breakfast they had delivered hot coffee and a bagged breakfast that included homemade muffins. They even added some juice and snacks for our grandkids who were visiting. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything needed for for a very relaxing vacation.
