Detailed Reviews
We were sad to have only spent one night in this intimate treasure tucked off the main path. Ken the owner greeted us and showed us to our guest room. The room was very comfortable. We slept well in the nicely appointed room. Cookies served in the evening and a cooked to order breakfast in the morning. Fabulous Belgian waffle. There is a community refrigerator to store cold items and a purified water dispenser, although I drank the water from the tap. They serve beer and wine for a fee in the evening and there are also complimentary tea and hot chocolate. Besides the hot tub, the property is beautifully landscaped as an enchanting oasis. It’s all the little touches that makes this place special and you can see the pride the owners take in their property. You can walk to several restaurants.

Property's Favorite Review
This was our first family trip to the Killington/Pico ski area that we didn't stay at the base of the mountain for a ski in/ski out experience. I was a little concerned about how it would work out with having grandparents and 2 young children as well as ski lessons, lodge trips and meals while being "off-site". However, we booked here because we had stayed here about 10 years ago and knew that it was a great location, regardless. Ken & Carolyn, who recently purchased the Inn, have made it an incredible get away. They have completed beautiful renovations and each of the rooms are beautifully decorated, the common areas are comfortable, and the amenities are plenty! They are the best hosts, and completely care about each individual who stays here. They even went as far as pulling out a train set for my children to play with. In regards to their breakfast, it is delicious. I loved the ordering the night before, and then coming into a table all set and ready for us. The food is plentiful and there are so many different options that were all scrumptious. We did enjoy eating lunch one day, and the pizza was great! We also enjoyed the nighttime atmosphere with some acoustic musicians and a few drinks around the bar. This location has it all, and for the win, it is so close to all the restaurants, and you are on the shuttle line to both Pico and Killington. It ended up working out even better than staying at the base of the mountain, and we are already sorting out our dates to come back next year! We'll see you again soon!

This Inn is the perfect balance between a too personal Bed&Breakfast and an impersonal hotel. Carolyn and Ken welcome you to their lodge where you have space, and yet feel their thoughtful touches everywhere. Our room and the common areas reflect people who care: fresh cookies or cakes in the afternoon, a filtered water station, ski boot dryers, etc, The tasteful woodwork and decorations throughout remind you of why you came to VT. Finally, this is NOT a party lodge, it is quiet, inviting, and spotlessly clean place to relax and recharge.

Needs to upgrade their beds, lighting in rooms and cleaning practices. Work on better breakfasts instead of the same simple choices each day. A true B&B fixes hot, yummy breakfasts each morning.. If you are going to charge high prices guests expect to get their money's worth.

Thank you for the feedback. We are an Inn that serves a complimentary continental breakfast as stated on our website and third booking parties. We have an expanded continental breakfast that includes items like freshly basked croissants with homemade maple butter and Belgium waffles with blueberries from Maine. We will certainly address your other points.

Just wanted to say that when you advertise a place to have air conditioning I expect more then a table fan!
We were brought to our basement style room later in the evening (7:30 pm) first red flag 🚩 to find a pretty simple room no frills.
After a little bit when I wanted to cool the place down from the intense humidity in the room I realized they was no AC even every room is advertised with “air conditioning” they second red flag was when I saw the fan running and the window open when coming into the room.
Needless to say this made for a horrible night and on top of the the TV reception kept cutting in and out all this on top of a saggy mattress!
I couldn’t wait to wake up and leave!
Breakfast consisted of cold oatmeal and yogurt with frozen blueberries and Day old bagels and croissants!
This place needs to learn more about customer services big time!!

Tom - thanks for your feedback - We have read your reviews on all the other properties you have stayed at and see your tone/negativity is quite similiar. We did not advertise a fan as an air conditioner - that is slly - our a/c units are portable and one was simply not put back in the room when it was getting drained. Apologies. A simple call would have fixed the situation. We are available 24 hours a day - OUR cell phone number is posted at the front desk - We go out of our way to give our customers a good experience - no need to be so insulting when you leave your reviews. We do apologize your experience was not a good one, but we do stand by our customer service and operation

My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Snowed Inn, March 2021 for our anniversary. We had an amazing time! The place was beautiful and clean. The Innkeepers were very accommodating. Our room was right by the kitchen so ever morning we woke up smelling the fresh coffee brewing and Belgium waffles cooking! It was amazing! We would definitely recommend this beautiful place!

The Inn has recently undergone significant renovations. Inside is bright, airy, and fresh while maintaining a warm cozy atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and linens. Breakfast in the morning was a treat with fresh waffles, maple butter, real blueberries, or your choice of other equally good selections. Carolyn and K.C. are the innkeepers and very welcoming and nice; we felt more like great friends in a comfortable and relaxed setting than guests. Can't wait to return for a longer stay, it was that refreshing!

My boyfriend and I came up for the Spartan Race at Mt Killington for the weekend. We were absolutely blown away by the outstanding service this inn offered. Carolyn and Ken made our stay at the Snowed Inn one of the highlights of the trip. The inn was clean, beautifully decorated and offered amenities such as a 24/7 coffee bar and breakfast every morning. Carolyn and Ken made our experience extremely special by giving each racer a goodie bag and having a post race bbq. When choosing a place to stay, a customer remembers how they felt and how they were treated above all else. The customer service we received was above and beyond, and the little things they did to differentiate themselves is the reason why we will never choose another place to stay on the mountain. Thank you for your hospitality and being part of our Spartan experience.

Everything about Snowed Inn was outstanding. As you walk up the steps, you can just tell you are going to love what's inside. As we entered the inn, we were welcomed by a happy and friendly face and were immediately offered warm, fresh-baked chocolate cookies (which were DELICIOUS). From the cozy common area and clean room to the outdoor hot tub and delicious breakfast, everything was top notch. We stayed at the inn with a large group of people, and the amazing innkeepers (Ken and Carolyn) accommodated multiple requests with warmth, ease and kindness. The boot warmers were also a nice plus! We had so much fun and had a blast at the inn and skiing. It was also great to have a short walk to multiple restaurants, a grocery mart, and some local spots with great live music! A+++ experience overall. We will 100% return!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Snowed Inn on a recent ski getaway. Great location close to Killington and nestled in a quiet space just off the main drag. These newish owners did a great job creating a friendly, quiet oasis after a long ski day. Freshly baked cookies are available late day and the cozy spaces around the fire place create a wonderfully relaxing vibe to sit and read, play a game or chat. Sign up times are a smart way to "privately" enjoy the hot tub and ski storage and boot dryers are a skiers dream! Booked breakfast times created a well timed departure in the morning and offerings were simple and adequate. Our small queen bed room was comfortable and clean but barely space enough for 2 skiers and all their gear, even with the great boot and ski storage options. Snowed Inn was a lovely place to stop and stay for the first 3 days of our Vermont ski road trip!

There are several restaurants within walking distance and a small grccery/ gift store around the corner from the inn.
we do not have laundry service - however, we are happy to help travelers who have been away from home and do a load or two for you
Yes! We are less than two miles from Killington Ski Resort, and about 5 miles to Pico. The Killington shuttle stops at the corner of our road, about 500 feet.
No all rooms have air conditioning. This room in particular no.
Breakfast is served from 8 am to 9:30 am; all the other questions are ones to ask the owners of the Inn.
